...And where is the official Froyo WiFi tethering app? I know that I can download the unofficial one for rooted phones only from the Market, but this should be one of Froyo's biggest selling points. Am I just missing it somewhere in this ROM?

You know, I didn't see it when I was messing with it either. I saw the USB tethering options. I'll look again when I get a chance and I'll let you know if i see it.

So, I looked around and it Should be in there with the USB Tethering option. It isn't there though. I think they must have left it out of this build, if you connect the phone using the USB tether you get a notification that says, "tethering or Hotspot active, click here to configure." If you actually click it, it just brings you back to the settings for turning on and off the USB tether.

flash was compiled for ARM7, our heros are ARM6, so unless adobe decides to release a version for arm6, we are out of luck for full flash...

So I am running the CM6T4H (This thread rom) and I don't have Market FC, and everything seems to be running smooth. I don't notice a huge diff in performance vs kool aid OC, but it does run nice. haven't tried wifi tether yet. P.S. Titanium backup does a good job but it is tedious to restore..... unless im doing it wrong. How can I go back to the stock theme, although I do like the lock screen....

By stock theme do you mean Sense UI? If so, Cyanogen is built from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) so you won't have Sense if you flash this ROM. Also, the current Froyo build automatically restores your applications since they are tied to your gmail account. It will take a few minutes to download all the applications depending on how many you have and if on WiFi.

Other applications like sms backup & restore will do what it says just fine (no mms though).

try running a quadrant benchmark on both, believe me its ALLOT faster...like 2X..allot of additional graphical chores have been offloaded to the GPU though open GL.

I spoke too soon, after the titanium restore my sound got all goofy and internet was FC-ing too. Sound settings does a FC on me. Will see if a restart helps.

For you people who are not experiencing the market FCs:
1. are you running Google****s 85?
2. which SD card are you using?
3. is your SD card partitioned all as one FAT partition or did you set up a Linux partition for A2SD?

The combination of Market force closes and the camera not being to do anything but still pix without preview is almost maddening, but the rest of what this ROM has to offer make me stick with it. This ROM truly is awesome.

i'm using the signed 3 version of google apps posted on the xda site. I flashed the rom, then the google apps, then to recovery. I had to wipe because i restored a bunch of bad data with titanium recovery but i only did selected apps this time and its workin like a charm.

However, I am having a problem with finding some market app's (Handcent SMS, Maps, Tikl Touch to Talk, Weather Channel etc.. Should I have used the FRF91 google file instead of 85? Also, when i use Camera 360 the preview shows a static picture instead of showing what the camera is pointing at.

Any suggestions???

I flashed the RC0 and Google apps 91v3 right over my existing Test4 (the first one) and Google apps 85.

I'm still having the market force closes. The next thing I guess for me is to wipe everything and install them both fresh, but I dunno. My GPS is working better, the LED seems to be fixed, the Monocle feature in Yelp worked for me for the first time ever last night, and everything else seems to be intact.

As far as the camera thing goes, I am not experiencing the same issue with Camera Magic, but I think I'm going to stick with the stock camera app with no preview because it now has the 5MP working.

Have you used Camera Magic? Camera 360 gives me problems with the newest build that I don't experience with Camera Magic.

I'm having the same missing programs issue in market...Handcent especially is driving me nuts. For some reason barcode scanner wouldn't pick up the link to download directly from other sites, but there was an update to it last night so maybe I'll be able to follow those now.

I saw in thread over there that if you flash the test 4 version from the thread, then flash RC0 on top of it w/o wiping it will fix the market issue. That is what I did, and handcent works, as do other protected apps. I haven't seen the new update yet.

The camera doesn't work in the barcode scanning apps at all - other than showing you a preview.
