CyanogenMod7 now available in beta!

Just a fewmins ago using Vignette my X crashed to a black screen for maybe 10 secs and then rebooted to a green themed ADW home screen. I hit the home button and it went black long enuf to change back to my LPP home screen. Odd. Runnin #16

So, does anyone have a running list of the major things that haven't been fixed yet on the nightlies? It would be helpful so those of us who are a LITTLE more risk adverse can decide when to jump in.

I really miss running CM7 since my kids decided they didn't like having CM7 on their Nook Color. I'm going to drop the OTA GB as soon as CM7 for the DX gets stable enough.

Thanks!

Scott

Right now its stable as the ota gb just without a working camera. There is a file to flash to fix that until its officially fixed. I been using cm as my daily driver and has not let me down.

I agree that CM7 is pretty stable as well, the major issues for me is that the battery life is not nearly as good as stock GB. Right now im on 50% battery, 21 hours. Underclocked.

The camera fix does not address the video camera. Can't use my Daily Roads dash cam.
I do miss the live wallpapers too. Certainly not a deal breaker.

I have the extended battery and did not notice any difference from ApeX 1.4. Both were exhausted be 10pm.
I'm hopeful that CM will improve it as it becomes more stable.

I just got a 2300 quadrant on the latest nightly, without Turbo. Running smoothly.

So now we don't need the first camfix zip we've been using, just install this one each day?

First off, Happy 4th of July to you all and America!! And happy 125th to Lady Liberty!

OK, so running nightly #19, cam/camcorder fix.zip, and today's free Amazon app "Fireworks" a live wallpaper, IS working on my X. Screenshot attached. It's prettier in person, than in a screenshot.

I've been very satisfied running the nightlies w the cams zip but since there hasn't been major changes can I just stop and do maybe a weekly update to the latest and greatest or do we have to keep up daily? I'm thinkin of goin 25, 30 and so on instead of daily by one.

sure you can do weekly.. unless of course you're OCD like most of us and you are compelled to flash daily :)

Haha the exact habit I'm trying to break. On the X end of things anyway. I'm a self torturing gamer too lol ty

So is the camera/cam fix now the only fix you have to flash along with the CM7 nightly ?
So the GPS is fixed and no gps fix needs to be flashed ?
