Im gonna point out your signal is lower compared to his. He also could be located closer to the data center in KC that Virgin/Sprint uses.
A look at the reference guide (stickied) has the link in there.Do you guys have a link to changing prl?
The top screenshot is the first test using the 22081 prl I dropped kicked to the phone today in little rock.
Then I changed servers to Kansas City. See the difference?
LeslieAnn im jealous Im about 200 miles from KC myself and I never get that kind of speed../shrug.
I never do either.
That was the kind of speeds I got a year ago, but it has been dwindling to the slow speed I posted, until today. Unfortunately, I was in St. Louis today for work and I got 10kbps.

If people want to use the phone as a wfi hotspot more power to them. I have helped friends install tether apps so they could do homework and what not. Just be aware of your data cap and if you are going over it evaluate why. One thing people dont realize is there has always been a soft cap in place.Don't say that too loud, Eollie might hear you.

Furthermore you can take your comment and shove it. Im sorry I have morals and no tolerance for drama queens. If somebody wants to post they are being dramatic and cancelling their account over something like this I will point out how stupid they are. Simple facts Virgin is doing what other carriers have been doing for atleast six months. People left Verizon and ATT over data throttling only to comeback shortly later. Verizon even had a grace period they were unofficially supporting to allow people to pick up their old plan.
I'm just bothered that there doesn't seem to be a good infrastructure for 3g and 4g to support heavy data use yet.
.
Tether, but tether responsibly.
I only do it when I have a customer on dialup, no internet at all, or I can't piggyback their network.
20gigs a month is abuse on any cell plan, especially one for $25 a month.
Get broadband you leech.
