Just wipe it once after you get v1.3 fully booted.

Hmmm...

I didn't fully read the 1st post so I"m trying this again...

I installed the nrom zip... erased Davlik and rebooted... (this was SOP with roms when I had a Hero... Moment... etc)

Found that the system wouldn't go into settings, and that the launcher would crash if I tried to add any short cuts to the desktop...


I re-read the OP before posting and read the part about letting it boot before erasing Davlik...

I'd of course nandroided back to my recovery... so now I'm living through the forever boot while it rebuilds the davlik.

Sci, you have to take the same steps I did. Restore to your nand backup and as Nick advised me, flash nROM v1.2 first, reboot, boot to recovery, flash v1.3, reboot, boot to recovery, wipe dalvik-cache and you should be good.

I was on ThundeRom when I flashed nROM. You should flash 1.2 then 1.3 otherwise you may run into the same issues I did.

Yeah I'll be releasing v1.3 in a patch form, but until then flash v1.2 first and then v1.3.

Question, is there a framework.apk that will work for the rom, that will work with the ultimate on-line theme kitchen?

Our framework-res.apk on the LG Optimus S is jacked up. It uses .pro files and .png files and has stuff where it shouldn't (IMO). So as of now, no there is not.

Btw, I know the stock framework-res works with the kitchen... but I couldn't ever get the notification bar to actually be black... but then again, this was with the stock firmware - rooted... (and some icon's would greatly freak out the rom too... )
