Hey WMC7 is pretty damn nice, IMO. I have it on my desktop back at home. Great for DVR'ing random things mainly.. Only thing is, it costs money lol..

thats why i was happy to find an win7 ultimate x64 HP OEM torrent, no key and is free, but can only be installed on HP computers... which i happen to have. funny thing is i also have another win7 ultimate x64 OEM but the other one just writes the manufacture's key into your compatible bios and poof you're done, it's a good thing both my laptop and media server are compatible, that is if i were to actually use illegal copies like that...

EDIT: The only problem i have with wmc7 x64 is that integrating netflix was a B$%^&, and i had to do it twice onces on my laptop and once on the media server...glad thats over with.

Yep, OEM copies with bios hacks are the way to go. Erm, if you're into that not-necessarilly-legal thing.. Because doing so is wrong, and nobody should ever do it... Right? ;)

desu~ lol

any way, now that we're thoroughly OT, who else is excited about no more ad-hoc wifi, and the use of the FM radio?

Way to bring it back in.. But I am.. incredibly. Mostly for the FM. I seriously miss the ability with my old Zune player ever since I switched to an iPod (only because I had a mac, otherwise I would have at least considered another zune, but kindof glad I didn't haha). Although I'm concerned about the potential battery drain.. Seems like it would be substantial, but only time will tell?

isn't it still using our blue tooth radio, it doesn't do too much to the battery hopefully it won't be too bad.

i get no sound from fm but it does make alot of popping sounds like its initializing the sound system.

Downloaded, backed up, wiped, flashed!
Thanks! FM radio doesn't seem to do anything on mine. No static or anything.

yep, we're just going to have to deal with that, i may play with it in depth later though.

Also bluetooth is not working for calls, and audio seems to not be working at all for music, going to reboot hold on.
