anyone try this on another recovery besides clockwork (like thunderc?) in other words, should i change up my custom recovery before flashing this rom?

Does anybody elses button lights stay on? Not sure if its been this way since I installed #15 this morning but I just noticed my lights are on 24/7. Running nightly #15, with button remapper app, remapped "search" button to a "power" button. Maybe its the remapper app?

Thanks

known issue, will be fixed on 2/16.

20100216] Fixed brightness/button issue: Reverted liblights back to lge

the liblights was keeping the button lights on.

Do you have any problems regarding to the lockscreen ? Does the beam animation work ? Thank you !

Could you please answer my question too ? I cannot send a PM because I do not have enough posts.

Thanks !

So, I just followed all instructions verbatim to...
Update to rooted VC
Switch to Clockword Mod Recovery
And finally, install CM7.
On boot, my phone loads the skateboarding animation, the arrow goes around a few times, then it stops and freezes. Anyone else experience this or have a fix?

No major issues with the lockscreen, just have to be deliberate on some of them.

How long have you let it sit at this?

I own a P500 and I've tried mik_os version of CM7 but it has an issue with the lockscreen. If you don't use a LW the screen remains black and you have to tap it to see the unlock slider. If you use the lockscreen beam animation it remains black until you pull out the battery.

Do you have any ideas where the problem could be on our build ?

10 minutes before taking out the battery and rebooting.
Upon retry, the arrow froze for a minute, then the animation restarted, and did this 3 times before permanently freezing. Should I try re-wiping and reinstalling the zip? Sorry if I overlooked it, but is there an MD5 sum for the most recent version?

No clue on that.

Yes, I would try re-wiping everything then reinstalling the zip. Umm, no MD5 sum that I'm aware of but I will talk to zefie about one for tonights build.

Yes, I am currently running thunderclap with CM7. Working real well so far.

Found another issue, but it may be a 1 time deal:
I made 3 calls back to back, each lasted 30sec to a min. Hung up the third call and everything died. Power button didn't do anything. Had to do a battery pull to bring back up.

If it happens again I'll make it an issue on the issues page.

I would make the issue now rather than later. Just safer that way.

So would it be a bad idea to get comfy in this build and start bringing back all my apps and such?

Will we be able to flash tonight's build from the current one without wiping again?
