I can run my S completely stable at 864, but if I use SetCPU I get the random restarts just like you. I would suggest using the overclock that confess with CM7. It's under settings> CyanogenMod settings> Performance> click ok> cpu settings. That's where i set my oc settings.

SetCPU actually causes instability with all versions of CM7. This is a known issue. It is best to use the CM7 settings to OC that you describe and remove SetCPU.

Bug I found:
When I get a call from a number that was blacklisted my phone still rings but there is no way to answer it. My phone kept vibrating with the screen off so I thought someone else forgot their phone at home so I was searching everywhere lol. I felt my phone and it was vibrating, but then I turned it on and it acted normal I could open apps all while it was vibrating (with no way to answer). LOL weird.

Aosp gets more updates but no mms and Scotts gets no updates but has mms and is pretty stable

Oh my god. I'm so happy this is going somewhere, I can't get my apps to restore on aosp, and I need gingerbread. This rom has been perfect for so much. Thanks for continuing the project, you and zefie both.

My wife is running this ROM on her phone and I'm jealous. I have an Epic 4G and what a waste of money when this phone is just as good. The Epic gets no updates and has a ton of annoying quirks,

@chukdez: Check out the forums at CyanogenMod.com I think that they're still working on support for most of the myriad Galaxy S models (which includes the Epic 4G). Personally I'm looking at the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 2 (Samsung Within) for my next device when I'm due for an upgrade in October. I hope that Samsung doesn't have such horrible issues updating the OS on it as they have on the originals though.

Back on topic however, while I have no specific issues with this ROM currently (since the microphone on my Bluetooth stereo headset is broken so I only use it for music), I'm glad to see someone still working on this ROM since I'd still like to eventually see a fully operational version of CM7 on the Optimus S. Before I even purchased this device, an LG spokesperson stated that it would 'eventually' receive an official update to Gingerbread. I'm guessing that an official 2.3 ROM (with source code) would make fixing the various issues MUCH easier. Well all I can do for now is hope I guess ^_^

Is the current build (0428) as good and stable as the previous (0401)? I so far have minimum to no issues with (0401).

i know on 0404 i could run wireless tether fine, but anything upgraded beyond that it reboots when i try to make a hotspot, but then works upon reboot.....

I'm still running 0404. I tried the one before 0428 and it was broken... I never tried 0428 since it appeared to Still be nonfuncional.

flashed this about a month ago, and after doing so the facebook app did not work properly. would force close if choosing to do anything from the menu screen in app.
