Thanks to KSmithInNY and Beezy for the update; you guys are the best-- really appreciate your hard work!

Quick Question: After installing the latest version of ThundeROM, is it ok to delete previous versions from the SD Card?

Yeap you can delete the previous versions,if worst comes to worst ever update that we've released is uploaded and i probably have a million copy's on my pc.lol

cant seem to connect to Wifi. i get to obtaining IP address from xyz network, but doesnt connect. any fix for this?

I'm able to both get IP and browse webpages from my wifi fine after upgrading.

Yep, sorry to add another "me too" to the pile but wifi working just fine here.

Just to double check a few things. In terminal on phone or pc do this
adb shell <-if on pc. su<--if terminal
ls /system/etc/modules

Is there wireless.ko and tun.ko? If there is then you have all the modules and eveerything should be working. I would say try a reboot if you haven't. If it still won't then i would try clearing just cache for some weird off the wall reason it could be something in there causing the problem.

Used the instructions for rooting ,wipe,backup and flashing new rom without using a computer. The rom I installed was thunderom 1.6. After installing rom my 3G icon was showing alot of activity and I was not downloading anything. I then noticed my phone was getting quite warm the glass clock widget showed my battery temperature was 102 and in 2 hours my battery was dead. After putting my phone on charger it was rebooting every 3 minutes. I had to put phone in airplane mode in order for it to charge. As I am posting this while still on charger I have lost 4% in battery charge. When I was using the stock lg optimus s I didn't experience anything like this. Phone still will not charge properly unless in airplane mode. Any suggestions.

I would think a app or something in the background is messed up. Have you tried download 1.6.2 and wipe everything and then flash it?

That was a issue in 1.6 it was suppose to be fixed in 1.6.2,it sounds like something isn't going right. Do you have any apps installed,like setcpu or any overclocking app?

It's in the third post can't miss it. I would suggest a full wipe for you just cause it seems you are having major problems for some reason.

sorry to be so newbie. it seems that the optimus didnt like my encryption type. changed from aes to tkip or vice versa(not sure) and it connected. hope this helps anyone else having the problem. but thanks for the super quick response, much love for the Rom

Question: Is the Sprint ESPN pack included in your zip file in post # 2 with the Sprint apps? Flashed the zip in recovery but can't find it if it was included, but have all the others.

If it wasn't included is there another place we can download the zip for it?

No the were not included in the zip,ESPN pack is part of sprintID im working on getting it to work for ThundeROM.

I know it's not the espn pack that comes with sprintID but if you serach ESPN on the market you can get almost everything that is in the pack.

Do you reccomend using Juice Defender with this rom? It does not support cpu speeds for THUNDEROM

I have only used that app once and that was on a hero. I didn't like it,you could always run it for a little while and if all is good then post back cause im sure your not the only one wondering.

Is there anyway to tell if JIT is loaded? I ran the BuildProp-Stock but there doesn't appear to an indicator on the ROM version in the profile.

So....what's on the agenda for tomorrows update? lol

The stock one is the same as what you would get if just flashing the rom,but to answer you question jit is on by default only if you flash the no jit would you need to worry.
In the update for tomorrow is sleep,sleep and a little more sleep.lol. Thanks.
