Iv notice that my battery drains a lot faster... does it drain so fast becuase its over clocked... 1.5 lasted forever

I seem to be having the same problem as well.

I just upgraded from TR1.5 to TR1.6.2 and re-installed all the same apps and it seems 1.6.2 is eating away at the battery considerably faster....

1.5 battery seemed to last forever for me as well.

It will. LEGO is a separate effort and not in any way meant to be the end of life for nRom or thunderom. Just another option for all

Gmail Notification Issue

Has anyone had trouble with Gmail? Today I realized that I was receiving email and not being notified. I do not have the option checked to only be notified once and I also tried 'clearing data.' Neither of these worked. I did multiple test emails. I then rebooted and did 5 tests - they all worked. I hate this bug and used to have it all the time with the Hero. Is this a permanent thing or is this an isolated incident?

1.6.2 for over a week. No reported Issues - Even after installing 3rd party apps - many of them. I have been trying to find a flaw in this rom because I hope it eventually is ported to the Optimus V for Virgin Mobile as I plan on buying my fiance one next week. I feel safe knowing she would be running this stable rom.

I flashed the deluxe build prop that was on my sd card after rom flash and got 1101 quad and an 8.97 mflops on linpack

NPR News app

First of all thanks for this great Rom. It has great features and has made my introduction to the android system mostly painless. Starting with version 1.5 i have been unable to use the NPR news app to stream local radio. Podcasts work fine, but whenever i try to stream local radio live it seems unable to launch the player. It was working fine with the previous versions of the rom. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

No need to be concerned that's just the file to gain root access on your phone there is no harm that can be done.

I would say this is a isolated incident. I use to have the hero so i know what you mean. I haven't had any problems with gmail with optimus.

This is nice to hear.I don't really see why there should be any problem there basically the same carrier just a little difference. Just wondering can you access the settings like about phone and call settings>system select?

As stated above flash the deluxe build.prop that is on your sdcard. It will help push the score up there. Here's a screenshot of my new personal best.

Sounds like you might benefit from having stagefright enabled. Try flashing the deluxe build.prop that is on your sdcard.

Flash the deluxe buildprop that activates stagefright. You won't notice an actual difference and you may break some streaming audio/video, but you'll trick the phone in to giving you a high quadrant score.

Yes, flash the buildprop after flashing the ROM. Flashing the ROM overwrites the buildprop change, so if you ever flash the ROM again, you'll have to flash the buildprop again.

Deluxe from ThundeROM (on your SD card after flashing) has the same performance increases as Deluxe from LEGO.
