Same as when you did the 1.5 flash, except now there's some new options. Pick the deluxe one rather than the 1.5 ROM and you'll be set.

hi, I only know how to flash 1.5, but how do i flash "deluxe buildprop" afterwards? sorry, i am new to this. thanks in advance!

Go back into custom recovery, select Flash Zip from sdcard, select (going from memory here), buildprop_deluxe.zip, or something like that. Once flashing is done, reboot.

ALso, I'm confirming that menu animations became (even) smoother after adding stagefright back in.

Edit: woah, I was slow on that one!

Could be. Is there a md5sum app for Android?

http://www.appbrain.com/search?q=md5 ..... haven't tried any yet...

Does anyone else have an issue with not being able to scroll the list of items in the custom recovery "Flash zip file" section? I've got quite a few apps installed on my SD, and they create directories in the root of the card. Because of that, the listing of files to choose from for the .zip currently ends at "Builds_Pro.zip" (can't recall the exact name, but definitely not the 'deluxe' one). I've tried scrolling farther in the list with every button on the phone, but it seems impossible.

Is this a known limitation (and I'll just have to delete apps in order to do this), or am I missing something incredibly obvious?

Thanks in advance.

KSmith! The download link is currently down. I suppose your ROM is just too good for whoever is hosting it. You must be popular. But, it wouldn't be a good ROM unless you upset a few hosts along the way. ;)

Is there another mirror for the download? I finally got root and custom recovery on there, got backed up, and now that I'm ready to flash, no ROM... :(

Same here. I just created a folder called "AndroidZips" and placed any update zips in there, works fine. Just name it something that will come first in the alphabetical listing....

If you partition your SD card you can prevent this from happening. Move your apps back to the phone and backup your SD card. Then use the recovery console to partition it (just take the defaults unless you need more than 512mb of app space). Then use the ext2 to etx3 and ext3 to ext4 options and you will have a nice space for your apps and they won't end up on your main file store.

Thanks for the tip. Since I've already got the custom recovery installed and working well otherwise, I'll probably just go the other suggested route and create an "AndroidZips" folder that will always show in the list. Now that I realize it isn't important that the zips actually be in the root directory necessarily, this will suffice.

are you running custom recovery 1.1 or 1.2? i thought 1.1 was limited to having zip files in the root of sd card

Huh???? Recovery 1.2????

Yeah, there is a version 1.2 posted in the 34th post of the recovery thread:
http://forum.androidcentral.com/lg-...y-optimus-s-thunderc-sprint-4.html#post447839

Since post #1 of that thread has not been updated with it, I'm not really sure if it's considered the "official" version of recovery or if it was posted for testing purposes, but it's the one I have on my phone and it works well. Not sure if I have the scrolling issues you are having, though.

So does 1.5 have JIT Enabled? Or we need to do it from the sd card? How are people getting such high quadrant scores. I have the oc kernel >.<
