Somewhat off topic, but I only noticed this really happening since the 1.6 upgrade. I'm having quite a few issues now with the screen going on and off when on a phone call. It seems almost as if the proximity sensor isn't working correctly, but testing it out with the Z-test app, it seems perfectly functional. Is there any way that the proximity sensor can be outright disabled? I'm fine with just hitting the power button or something to lock the phone before putting it up to my ear. I don't have any replacement plan, but I'm guessing this might fall under warranty anyway? I'd REALLY like to not have to return the phone to stock and everything just to take the damn thing to the Sprint store. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Proximity sensors on Android phones are notoriously crappy. In fact, didn't a blogger recently mention that he tested an Android phone that actually had a working proximity sensor and that was a major selling point for him? I'd have to look for the article, if i find it i'll post it because it was funny.

Anyway, long story short, we havent touched your proximity sensor. It's sucked from day 1 and will continue to suck. No need to return the phone ;)

Cheers!

Understood, figured it couldn't possibly be anything from your Tom really, but thought you guys might have some suggestions... maybe a way to just disable it? Thanks for the quick reply :)

For all that like their sprint apps make sure to read the second post it is updated with a new flashable zip instead of having to install them one at a time, just remove any that you don't want after flashing.

No, it was the size that made me ask. when I first downloaded it, maybe the page for the original 1.6 was cached. I went back and did it again and refreshed the page and now it says 1.6.2 and the size is larger.

Thanks! Appreciate the hard work guys.

upgraded from 1.6 to 1.6.2, had 3 reboots already. seems less stable

Thats weird ive been running it all day without problems. Are you trying to OC to higher then 748? Other then that the only other thing i can think is you have a app that is causing the problem.

cant seem to connect to Wifi. i get to obtaining IP address from xyz network, but doesnt connect. any fix for this?

Thanks to KSmithInNY and Beezy for the update; you guys are the best-- really appreciate your hard work!

Quick Question: After installing the latest version of ThundeROM, is it ok to delete previous versions from the SD Card?

Thanks, in advance, for your thoughts.
