I have telephone numbers that I want to dial and the contact telephone number is something like 434-555-1212 ! 43. I also treid 434-555-1212 W 43. These numbers dialed fine in my Thunderbolt but in the Bionic it tries to dial as an internation telephone number.

Does anyone know of a solution that will allow me to dial a telephone number that has an extension?

I hate to just ditto, but I have the same issue...it should just ignore the last part. I put them in that way in outlook because there is no separate field for extension in it. Is there some special character that we can use to let the phone know to ignore the rest? The one I used is x, and that didn't work either.

Lasermn - thanks for the information and you are correct that it does work the way I want it. The real problem that I had was I was using the Go Contact Ex app\dialer and it does not handle the extention properly. So I will be uninstalling the contact app and using the stock app or trying to find another contact app.

Again, thank you.
