Didn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes

I know I've read that voice signal bars have nothing to do with 4G connectivity or speed but generally my ability to connect to 4G and 4G speed seems to be directly related to how many bars I have. Well today sitting at Walmart waiting for my oil change, I got a whopping 9Mpbs/1.2Mbps with 1 bar. I was quite surprised. I am still on EG30 modem BTW.

its been said many many many times; there is NO correlation between the number of signal bars, and actual signal strength;
if you want to know actual signal strength , you need a program that shows the signal strength in a numerical value, and, the LOWER the number, the stronger the signal..
