Flat screen. Even though my previous 3 devices I've used, Note 9, OP 8 and Note 10 Plus, all have curved screens, I would still prefer a flat display. Both functionality-wise and also for cases, screen protectors etc.
It's really hard to find a decent case, especially one with a built in screen protector for a phone with a curved screen. Even harder to find one now since Samsung uses the ultrasonic type finger print reader, so most companies build their cases without any kind of screen protector at all in them.
I have found that when using a phone with a curved screen, when choosing a case/screen protector combo, it's really a lot easier to purchase one that has the screen protector built into it already instead of screwing around with a separate screen protector which may not fit correctly, or might pop off. Honestly, with a flat display, I used to just get a really protective case and not worry about the screen so long as the edges of the case are raised up enough.
