There are plenty of blur based ROMs that have no issues.
sent from my icy Bionic occasionally with a side of jellybeans
Plenty? JB? No issues? Links, please!
Nibble by byte, weaning from google

Depends on what your perspective is. For Bionic, nothing's changed. I said end of this month at the earliest. Those who disagreed with my prediction have now changed their tune and are agreeing. For D4 we've heard....nothing at all. No new build, yet, no soak or release. The RAZR, otoh, is where the concern should really fall. All I'll say is this....it should be noted that the soak email went out a week and 2 days ago. Since then, nada. If that doesn't concern you, well, you've not been playing the game long enough.
I was just thinking that i was concerned about this. I've now been playing the game long enough.

Then you are on the right track.![]()
It's my opinion that all the builds are done. RAZR was completed on the 11th. D4 on the 18th. Bionic on the 22nd. This is just my opinion. I have no proof. If I'm right, this is what we'll see:
98.72.16 RAZR / MAXX soak this week
98.72.18 D4 soak a week later
98.72.19 Bionic soak in 3 or 4 weeks.
This is NOT fact. This is PURE speculation. I've always said I will tell you when I'm making a guess that COULD BE WRONG. This is one of those times.
Slightly older post, but...
I'll take your guesses over many people's facts.

2 of those hold true (d4 and razr). Bionic is bumped up to 20. It's making progress. Once it's done testing, then we are 2 weeks minimum from a soak/release.
The claim is that they are concerned about the network stability. Google did a million dollar study to show that this is total and complete BS. There is no proof, for example, that rom users jeopardize network stability, and those roms obviously don't go through the "rigorous" (cough joke) testing that VZW puts official updates through. VZW would prefer that you never find out about that study. The real answer, of course, is politics. VZW likes to maintain "control". This, of course, is coming to an end. Big changes in the industry are coming but it won't happen overnight. I've warned you all to get used to buying unsubsidized phones....you'll see why soon enough. Watch T-Mobile closely over the next few months.![]()
I do worry about that day. If I have to buy unsubsidized, I am probably not going to be having as nice of phones as I'm used to.

That all depends. T-Mobile will allow you to spread the cost out over several months. So you don't necessarily have to pay for it all at once.
