Just got off phone with VZW rep and expected ship date is 6/28 w/ 2 day shipping. Should have on 6/30.

I'm threatening to cancel my order for my Incredible with Verizon unless they can ship it out within the next few days. I ordered it online on 6/11 with a ship date of 7/12. I really need this phone for my job and it's making things very difficult not having a smartphone (I have just a regular piece of junk call/text phone right now that's breaking ---turns off on it's own, pieces falling off, etc.). If I call and ask them to ship it now or I'll cancel the order and get something else (change providers maybe?), do you think it will work? What other options do I have? This is really ridiculous (for all of us here) to be paying customers and have to wait this long for a CELL PHONE. Especially when it's coming from one of the biggest wireless providers in the world. Let me know what you think.

I also doubt that would work since the demand on the phone is so high. When me and my wife were looking into getting new phones and I wanted the DINC and she also wanted a Smartphone we tried the "leave Verizon" trick to see if they would give us a deal on 2 DINC but it didn't fly and she has been a customer since they were Cellular One.I'm threatening to cancel my order for my Incredible with Verizon unless they can ship it out within the next few days. No offense, but if you have a ship date of 7/12 then why would they ship it earlier? They stated that it wouldnt ship til 7/12...I would assume if you tell them you need it now, that they will tell you that you should have ordered another phone. Im not calling to complain until my ship date passes.
well if that's the case, then we're right on time. So 6/4 orders should ship tomorrow then and 6/5 on monday. But that still means my 6/4 order won't get here till monday, that sucks!

There is always the option of canceling your Inc order said:The Eris is no longer available from Verizon, I thought about doing the same thing, but when I went back to the VZW website the Eris wasn't there anymore. Someone on the Eris board said that the Eris was replaced by 2 other phones in that same price bracket.
