Droid MAXX glass replacement

Hi I may fix a cracked screen on a droid maxx, but I'm unsure if I should order a whole new lcd ($100+) or just get the glass for far cheaper. The videos ive seen on youtube only show how to remove the glass, but not how to install the new part. Does any one know how to do the complete process, or should I just replace the whole LCD? also, I heard that loca glue will fix minor scratches on the lcd. Is this true?

Get the LCD/digitizer assembly, simple replacement. If you are experienced, then knock yourself out going cheep.
