Droid RAZR Maxx - Cant Read Pics on my Mac

I just upgraded to the Galaxy S4. My old phone is the Razr Maxx. When i USB connect the RAZR to my iMAC in order to copy my photos off of the MicroSD card the computer cant display the pics. I can still display them on the RAZR, but not on anything else. Has anyone else experienced this?
