Droid X Camera Question

This is the one thing that is going to scare me about the X. I am currently on a fascinate and like droiddev says, the pictures just come out unbelievably good. it really is insane.

I just don't wanna loose my cam quality

Check out this X vs Fascinate thread. I only resized all of those (except the one on the last page) and did no touching up whatsoever. BTW you should go through the entire thread. They're both great at taking pics:

Ok heres some images I took the other day at the beach down the road from our house.

These were all taken on auto and default settings. To me they look grainy and not even close to the potential this camera had. Not sure what to do to fix this...

As for the camera, my pictures are coming out great. If you're shooting in low light stay away from the flash and turn up the exposure to 1 or 2

My X is also taking crap pictures. I've thoroughly cleaned the lens with an optical cloth, set it to steady shot instead of auto, and changed the ISO sensitivity to 100 per someone else's recommendation on this forum. My pics look similar to the OP's. Very frustrating. Camera was a big selling point for me and seeing all these great pics makes me jealous....there's gotta be a fix for it. I read somewhere that there was a software update for the camera but I can't seem to find it anywhere now....
