Well, I sort of got it working. It works in stock eb01 and DXeb01 but when I flashed SC2.8v again it broke. It forced closed before I installed any of my backups, as in the first boot after flashing, so I'm thinking it's something in SC conflicting with something in my phone, but for the life of me I've no idea what.
Same here, I went from DJ05 super clean to the full sc 2.8 with odin and got the exact same thing. I went back to my old set up from a backup rom...
Also going back to my DJ05 backup ROM I lost connectivity with my mac, all though easy tether still works...
To contrast I didn't use odin to flash 2.8, I did it through red cwm so we both had the same problem installing it two different ways.

I also seem to have lost my super awesome boot animation that showed up when I originally flashed sc2.8v when I went to eb01 and back. Not a huge deal but it was a neat way to show off the phone's graphics to friends.
That is a great boot animation...DJ05 is so fast and dependable guess I'll stay with it a while longer...
saw those but they're not the same as the awesome one it came with

use root explorer to navigate to they system/media folder in the superclean.zip file. its the one you flashed in cwm. extract the bootanimation.zip and copy it to your system/media forlder on you phone.
your email problem.. im too lazy to look, fill me in again.

thats strange. does your email work after that? hav eyou tried pulling the email.apk out of the stock eb01?
no I haven't tried that, wouldn't know how
regular email works, gmail works, it just doesn't notify me when I get email, I have to manually open gmail and refresh it to check if I have new mail

oh, its gmail. ok. thats a new one. if you are willing to start over, wipe data and cache and dalvick. then go to mounts and storage and format everything like 2 or 3 times. dont forget to back up your sd card first. reflash rom of your choice.
did what you said, I've been stuck in the boot animation for like 10 minutes. on the plus side I got that awesome boot animation back

Ok, so I wiped everything and started over. I got to sc 2.8v + NitroDark fine, no FC errors. I set Titanium Backup to restore app + app data and went to bed, woke up, rebooted. Email FC... sigh. So, I'm thinking it's something in my email, or gmail app. Not sure though
