FedEx stole my galaxy S23plus return

I just got an update of my return to samsung shop online that my return was unsuccessful because they received an empty box, it is really a nightmare to me and my wife right now if the charge us for $1100 plus and still the theft roaming around and looking for another victim. Hopefully this will be resolved like the fold 4 return I'ved seen here. Right now samsung still on-going investigation. For those who are planning to return their item using fedex be careful and think twice so that you will not be the next victim, it seems that they are growing, they make business on this.
 
So sorry you have to deal with this. Did you take pictures and/or videos of your phone and of packaging your phone before sending? Usually that helps with a getting a quick & satisfactory resolution from Samsung.

Yes I did took a couple of photos when the item was properly placed inside but I don't think it will make sense. I know samsung is aware of this stealing cases between them or fedex.

With all the issues with Samsung returns I tend to believe that it wasn't missing in the box but actually arrived at the trade-in center and they saying that it's not in the box That's just my thinking.. I would definitely get a Samsung supervisor on the case including with pics that you took and hopefully can get it taken care of Good luck

I already emailed them including the photos and hopefully it will reach to their top management. This whole situation also reported to BBB with Samsung and this is taking care of. Hopefully this will be resolved soon
 
I returned my S23 ultra last week and just got an email with a video attached of someone opening an empty box. I can’t believe I’m not the only one whose return was stolen.
 
iam having a same problem right now return s23 ultra and they send me a videos of the box empty FedEx was suppose to delivered it Monday, 6/12/2023 but got delayed the next day ..

This seems to be a common problem. Did you happen to take any pictures of packaging your phone? Even if not, dispute it with Samsung. It happens so frequently they definitely should know it's a problem.

no thts the only mistake i did... never took a photo or video because its my first time buying from them..
 
Even without pictures, contact Samsung and let them know that it was definitely mailed with the phone. Let them know that this happens to be such a common problem that its reported on their own Samsung members site (which the moderators delete these posts within hours), reported on Reddit Samsung communities and reported on various Android forums. The weight of the package when shipped would also be proof that the phone was in the package.

Hi everyone after 2 months on this traumatic experience on my return got empty as they said, samsung e-commerce provided me refund today, after everyday follow-up on emails and calling them. I did file claim on BBB with samsung so that samsung e-commerce take it seriously. Hopefully you too guys will get your refund.

How do you file a claim on BBB. Just happened to me too with my Fold5 return, this is crazy. Weird thing is they did receive the Buds 2 Pro on box but then stated that Fold5 wasn't there....
 
Definitely would mentioned bringing the police involved and credit card company if they charge it , Samsung really needs to be held accountable for these trade ins
