I'm a little confused about what happens for those of you that power off, remove your SIM cards, then restart the phone and connect via WiFI and then check for updates. Does nothing happen at all?

I tried this many times during the last two weeks. It was until I did a factory reset that I got the update.

At&t Sim here on an unlocked 6. Got the November security update about 4 days ago, but still on 5.1.1

I'd jump ship over lack of support this bad, however ATT the only carrier with a signal at my house. So I wait. I'm sure I'll FDR eventually and sideload if absolutely necessary, but really don't want to have to go to that effort.

Have you tried, after powering off, to remove your SIM, power back on and then via WiFi, check for updates?

SO WEIRD. Maybe try the delete the google services framework hack, which of course could screw things up, but also might work? Dunno. I do see that there is no AT&T OTA yet ( [REF] Nexus 6 Stock OTA URLs | Nexus 6 | XDA Forums ) but I would have assumed a no SIM phone /check for updates would trigger the OTA from Google.

Yeah read too many horror stories to try that. I'm just baffled ATT so behind on this one. I guess this is one of those times I'm supposed to exercise that virtue called patience (it even sounds disgusting) lol!
