Thanks to El Madhatter and oldblue910 from XDA forums! Saw this link over at the XDA forums and leads to the instructions and 4.2.2 file (for those with rooted devices). I personally haven't downloaded or installed it because my device isn't rooted, but is unlocked. The post also does note that they are working on non-root install instructions. Fingers crossed! I hope it works for everyone! :D

*Update: Non-rooted instructions have been added*

Rooted and stuck at formatting /cache for about 30 minutes now. Should I be worried?
Duh, it was asking me a yes/no question about getting rid of stock recovery or something like that. I didn't know what to do so I said No. It booted into 4.2.2 fine no problems but I lost root.

Still have the UGLY grey search bar in 4.2.2. Yuck! And I hate the new analog clock.

If you want to be that way about it. My Gnex was running 4.2.2 weeks before most nexus 4's... Glad to see you guys catching up ;)

A custom launcher will solve your issues :).

custom launcher is def what he needs lol. i use nova. love it. but been running this rom for a couple of days. working great. i might try the new radio. even from stock tho i never see past 2 bars in 4g. i think one time when i was in a large city it went full for a while. but still works great.

I am unlocked. As for the custom recovery, I have CWM 6.0.2.3.

Then you're fine. Just download a zip of the radios, reboot into recovery, and flash the zip.

As a general rule, always have a backup zip of your most trustworthy radios, just in case something goes wrong or the new radios suck. :)

I get the android with the red triangle when I try to go into recovery. I think I may know what happened. When I flashed 4.2.2, I said "no" to I believe deleting the stock recovery and probably should have said "yes."

Where should I keep them, on the SD card?
