Fingerprint Scanner Not Working Well

Since getting that Biometric update and re-registering my fingerprints the FPS has improved greatly.
I was having big problems before and now it's not so bad.

Saying that i dont understand how my phone works and i have face unlock ON. When its OFF. And yes anyone can say its bad bla bla but at least show evidence instead of starting a long debate without any evidence.

When I noticed my FPS acting up, I registered another fingerprint. Will see how this works out. This is of course after the latest biometrics update.

My experience is that registering dry fingers makes the processs of reading prints worse. I'm interested in what you find.

That may not help because dry it may have difficulty getting a read at all. Let us know how it works for you.

I've was frustrated initially but after being more deliberate about registering my fingerprints, plus the update, plus my own learning curve, I'm pretty happy with it. Guessing I'm working first attempt 80% of the time and never really have to go more than twice.

Another tip I like to mention that I haven't heard people say or do is once you to 80% it turns blue on outside of the sensor to place you finger from top then sides of it , should follow it with the fingers.

If they can bring the iris scanner back, I can tolerate the new fps. I will use it less often than I do on my Note 9, but I will have a secure means of unlocking my phone that is not physically uncomfortable to use
