First impressions thread.

I got the N20U in Mystic Bronze. Really loving the matte finish/feel on the back. I almost don't want to put on my Spigen Tough Armor and risk rocking the phone naked.

Thanks, I guess I'll be ordering both the Liquid Air and the Thin q tomorrow, I ended up with my daughter's bronze Ultra but she got the Samsung flip case and I swear that case is pink. Plus I didn't like the flip case on my Note 10+
I have the Liquid Air on my S20U and love it

I think these new "trends" that we've seen thus far in the smartphone world - lack of headphone jack; notch; hole-punch notch; big camera bumps; ultrasonic fingerprint sensors - *seem* to be a big deal in the moment; but oftentimes you'll get the phone and realize it's okay and you can more than love with the "new look."

I thought I'd miss the headphone jack on my Pixel 2. It was inconvenient sometimes, but I actually liked using the port instead. I thought I'd feel weird about the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and the hole-punch notch on my S10, and I love them now!

I guess it sometimes boils down to real-life usage and we can't really get that insight until we actually buy and start using the device about which we're unsure. Thankfully we can always return them if we find we don't enjoy the experience!

To add to my earlier post, this phone is a beast and I absolutely love it. The battery life is thoroughly disappointing for a €1200 phone though. It won't make that much of a difference to me because I'm pretty much always close by a power source but will buy a decent battery pack just in case.

I can definitely say the fingerprint sensor is way better on this Note 20 Ultra compared to the S10+. It responds and unlocks way faster without any problem at all.

Honestly I'm impressed with battery out of the box. I know as it learns usage and settles in it will improve but just 4 hours screen time so far this afternoon starting at 55% battery out of the box. This includes the setup, smart switch over USB c cable, streaming fox sports, downloading apps and updates. I still have 6% battery. Can't wait to see what its like when it's settled in.

Do you have a tempered camera module protector on the module?

If so, does it stick out over the cases protective lip around the camera module?
No protection over camera module, but this case is raised around it pretty good

Good to hear cause I have two Spigens I’ll be using when I get home to finally open my delivery.

Guessing a tempered camera cover would stick out above the case lip?

I would think with the protector it probably be flush

Wow, cool. Good to know. Hard to tell in pics. I think about a protector but my fear is it would stick out and that could be worse in that it would make contact with a surface and transfer that energy to the actual lease cover.

Let me see if this helps 20200820_001502.jpeg

For the most part I'm happy with it. It's fast, the S=Pen writes smooth and the 120hz is nice.
