Am I the only one annoyed they keep calling the standard lens wide angle? It's not a wide angle lens like LG uses...you can tell when an author has little photography knowledge.

It's not worth it if I can't use Samsung Pay. And to be totally honest with you, for that price, I might as well wait for the Note 8, and put up a couple extra $$ to get everything working. Not just a few features.

I just hope the rumors regarding the price being over 1k is just that, rumors. Unfortunately, I can't justify spending that much for a phone regardless how much money I pull in a year.

Same here. I want a Note8 but I don't need one. Not for that price. An S8+ will do me just fine until the S9 comes out if that's the case.

I put $1k away right after they took my Replacement Note 7 away from me last year just for this purpose. "Jim's Note 8 Fund" - I actually can't believe that I haven't touched it all this time! With my truck, camper, computers - I guess I should be proud of myself!!! Now to just hang in there a little bit longer...

Since do not use the pen much, I see reason to change from the 8+.

Would not be surprised to see a surge of 8+ sales since lower cost and more battery. Edge was different compared to Note 7, since more smaller display and more curved edges.

8+ and Note 8 are more comparable.

In 35mm terms it is wide angle. Anything less than 35mm is considered wide angle and the S8 is 26mm so its wide angle as well.

S8+ = 159.5X73.4X8.1
Note 8 = 162.5X74.6X8.5

As said above it's only 1mm wider basically the same width.

basically it's the S8+ at 3mm taller and less round corners.

Getting my Note back no matter the cost. It's inevitable lol. Might need to wait for the Dark Blue Sea color though. I think that's going to look great.

these colors are cool but who really uses their $950 phone (almost 10% sales tax here) without a back cover and screen protector.

So ultimately the back cover for most of us will not be seen when in use.

A great deal of people do, believe it or not. You or I might not, but it is a thing for enthusiast. And they paid for the right to do so. Actually, in certain areas, I rocked my Note 7 naked. That Gorilla Glass 5 was well fitted on the N7.

But outside of that, I had a clear case....
