March 11th will be a problem as Verizon would have to launch the iPad 2 and the Bolt on the same day.

Huh? A phone is not the same as a tablet. I don't understand why people are making such a huge deal about the iPad 2 causing things to be pushed back. To me it seems like Apple is the one that is rushing to get the iPad 2 out because so many competitors are coming with the goods.

Yea but watching the Ipad 2 announcement proves that apple is still SEVERAL steps ahead of the competition. And its still cheaper than the rest.

Yeah, from a hardware perspective, Apple has this sewn up for the foreseeable future. And that price is the killer. Honeycomb is pretty cool, but it's not as mass-market as iOS right now. That could change, but people just "get" the iOS interface and paradigm much faster.

That doesn't necessarily make it _better_ though.

only reason they got cheaper components is because they have a lock on the prices of those components when they signed that supply deal earlier this year with a new supplier, cost them a couple of billion but they got there price locked in apparently... and thats the only reason there ahead, even so, its still fruit... and its becoming rotten with the same old aging OS

Thats a pretty unfair comparison for the number of honeycomb apps. It was just launched! Plus apple ios covers their phones, ipad and laptops. Like comparing apples and oranges.
