As far as Bobby Bowden being the greatest coach ever, it took him more than 30 years to do what Dennis Erickson did in 3. He was a good coach, but to be at a school like FSU and have the talent they've had, only to have 2 Nat Titles is pretty disappointing. He did not have more wins than any coach in history when they were pulled. I do believe he had dropped to 2nd place.

Also, a lot of his wins weren't from a Division 1A school, so they shouldn't have counted anyway.
