Sheesh, those bezels do look pretty big. And a front-facing flash? I guess this means my beloved LED notification is probably gone. Decisions, decisions.

Lol, thanks. No big thing, though. I follow Nexus and Moto news closely, because after dealing with the mess that is TouchWiz, I want my next phone as close to stock as possible. So, I share whatever I find.

NOT a good photo at all to give a fair assessment on ... I'm not suggesting they're thin on the top and bottom, they're not. but the angle of the photo definitely doesn't help. I'd say head on, the bottom is probably smaller in person, and the top is bigger.
personally, on a 5.2" display, I don't mine a longer bezel. I'm much more concerned about width than height, and side to side the bezels seem nice. I also think it's a fair tradeoff for the dual speakers.
and if they keep the speaker grills black, without any branding it's not gonna be as bad as it appears in that photo with ol bear claws.
hopefully that mint green is more blue in person. I'd get black regardless, but still

Why would that make the bottom bezel bigger? Both have a front-facing speaker. I could understand it if the bottom had a notification LED like the original.

The leaked picture of the Huawei phone looked like it had a huge bezel too. I think it's a lot taller than a Note 5.

6.6 mm is too darn thin. In my opinion no regular phone should be thinner than 8 mm and no phablet thinner than 8.5 mm.

I agree with this. I get uncomfortable with the whole bendgate thing when phones are too thin. I generally don't mistreat my phones but when they're that thin, metal does what it does. And if the camera hump is around 8 mm, why not go with at least 7.5 mm for battery??
Yeah I wish they would have more uniform designs manufacturer to manufacturer, and year to year

totally agree. I love the randomness. how boring would it be if they took the Samsung/Apple route
