Galaxy Nexus Web Site Only Release on November 21st?

No ones saying that Apple has the sole say but they do solidify a date with Verizon........Verizon doesn't decide when its best for them to release the iphone and toy with it for weeks and months.

Maybe Samsung, Google, and Verizon have set a date. Just because they haven't made it public knowledge does not mean they are toying with it for weeks and months. I don't understand why people can't seem to see that. This isn't like the Bionic launch. People had cause to there. Just because everyone wants it yesterday and its not out yet does not mean Verizon is d!ck!ng around.

If this thing debuts in UK on 11/21/11. When could I realistically expect to have one in my hands (unlocked UK version). Christmas? Later?

Maybe they haven't? I'm not sure why it matters.

That's exactly why I said maybe. It doesn't matter. Thing is many here are talking like Verizon is screwing us and Google/Samsung. I don't think that's the case. They'll release it when they're good and ready, as is their right.

If you pay to ship it, easily sooner than Christmas.

Technobuffalo along with a few other tech sites are speculating that w/o is indeed referring to web only. Again, this is speculation, as most of the galaxy nexus info seems to be lol

Kellex from droid life said his source said it meant web only. He was the one to leak that info.

I'm speculatIng the validity of the images themselves. For one, the logo in the top left says "Verizon", not Verizon Wireless which they typically do. The Razr, Rezound, and G'Zone names are underlined in red, too. Very Microsoft Word-esque. Not to mention the specs in the next image are incorrect for some of the phones.

If you keep your mind open to the possibility of now until November 28th, all this won't be so bad.

Oh boy, Verizon waited too long and now there's leaks of a 4.7" quad core HTC phone. Oh no! Lol

Meh. I'm tired of the spec race. There's a point where it just doesn't matter as much as good software and a reliable piece of hardware.

I'm not in any way interested in a quad-core snapdragon. Definitely getting the nexus but my first quad-core phone will be an Exynos Soc.

I'm not quoting all those responses, but you guys did catch the sarcasm there, right? Or am I just missing the sarcasm in your responses?

I definitely caught it...just wanted to respond substantively anyway. Rest assured there are people out there who will be having second thoughts after seeing the HTC leak.

Google and Samsung continue to bungle the Galaxy Nexus launch

good article for those of you frustrated with the poor release of this device. It wont help matters any but at least it gives something to relate to.

Well written article, BUT the author makes a ton of assumptions of Google's intentions of the Nexus brand. Google has never really strayed from the idea of the Nexus being a dev device rather than a premier consumer phone. The author assumes that is their intention though, and in doing so skews the whole article.

In the end, all that article really said was, "they said November and its been a week and it's not in my hands yet. Wwwwaaaaaaa!"

That is not all the article said. The author correctly pointed out that Google and Samsung presented this phone as a phone for the general public. I know that after watching the unveiling I believed this phone was going to be marketed to a wider audience than previous NEXUS devices. If Google does want to market the Galaxy Nexus to the mass market, they are doing a horrible job. If Google's intentions are for the GN to be a dev phone they are doing everything right.

The article says it's the Tegra 3. If the Tegra still doesn't play well with LTE then it really won't matter as anything without LTE is a no go for me from now on.
