Despite having more than enough supposed free space, I still can't update. I can't seem to get any more helpful information than this, either.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Worked like a charm!

If you don't mind me asking, what was the problem, and how did wiping the cache partition fix it?

I can't say for certain, but there was probably a corrupted file that was causing the problem. When the cache was cleared, that allowed the OS to do its thing.

From an AOSP M8

Cache was only using 69MB, but was probably reporting that it used a lot more than that. As Golfdriver said, something was probably corrupted.
