Can anyone please help me with the mms force close problem? I can't send or receive them. If I get one to send it takes about a day before the other person gets it. I had this problem on uber too.
Also immediately after reboot I get a force close message.

Open messages, go to menu, settings, multimedia messages, connection settings click on down arrow beside name, change name from Production to Verizon. This is from gadget! on the Team BAMF forum. Any props go to him not me. I hope this helps!

Just visited the BAMF forums and nothing on the reboots. Could us have rcvd a flaky download?

You are the only person i've seen with a reboot problem. Either wait for 1.0.6 and do a full wipe and try again or go back to 1.0.4 and follow the directions carefully. I know you got a good download because you checked the md5 sum to be sure. Sometimes stuff gets wonky though.

Here is what I just did:

- CWR (nandroid) backup
- Full app (and data) backup via my backup pro
- Wiped data (factory wipe), dalvik, and cache.
- Deleted the BAMF extra folder on sd card
- Installed 1.0.4 and immediately 1.0.5
- Told Google to restore.
- Manually installed apps that auto did not do.
- restored app data via my backup pro (games n things only)
- Reboot.

Now will see what happens.

lol why should i pay for it when it's free with the older roms? thats one of the reasons i rooted this thing in the first place lol. i'm not much of a technical person so i really dont see any differences with these newer roms as compared to the older roms, they all look the same to me, so it's all good i'll just use an older rom.

When setting the VM in call settings, it seems to hang on updating settings...

Does that mean no worky? Or does not matter b/c GV will still work regardless?

Its been doing this sense the phone came out. I am surprised you never ran into it before. The phone/carrier/whatever does not support configuring voicemail via data. You have to manually forward it per Google Voice instructions online.

It took me several tries to get it to work... I used the direct link... I think the server is getting pounded right now... give it some time and it will work... I'm flashing it right now.

i'm sorry i didnt mean to offend you in any way, i'm kind of new to all this technical talk, i wasnt asking you to put it in, i assumed it was like that because all the other roms that ive tried weather it was bamf or others, the hot spot was working without having to pay so i was just checking thats all. hey thats your decision and i can respect that. thank you for all your hard work on these roms

for some reason when i downloaded titanium backup it tells me *sorry, i could not acquire root priveleges. this application will not work" why is that when i just got this new BAMF Forever 1.0.6 please help
