Surely there has to be a better way to get from there to here..... i've been doing a data wipe betwen every flash.

Interestingly, even though I cant signon, the widget for data usage still updates itself.

The way I got the MyVerizon app to work was switching the network setting to CDMA only, logged into my account and got the data widget up and running then switched the network setting back to LTE/CDMA. Hope that helps y'all

Wow, first day out of the the last 4 or 5 that I wake up and there isnt a newer release of BAMF Forever..... What am I gonna do? I was just getting good at flashing the newer version.

I haven't seen any roms with stock Sense UI that allows changing number of screen desktops.

MyTouch 4G allows users to change from 5 to 7, but required a wipe of data to do it with it's stock ROM... I had one for a couple months before I picked up the Thunderbolt.

This might be interesting to try... but I did find a different solution:

**************** MyVerizon and NFL Mobile app solution ****************

Make a nanoid backup of your current ROM.... wipe data, cache, and dalvik cache, then flash 1.0.2... boot up, log in to your Gmail account, let all the app download, log into MyVerizon app... start Titanium Backup... make a backup of "Verizon Single Sign-On Engine 1.0.16" app and data... good idea to make a nanoid backup of 1.0.2 at this point... flash back to your backup at the beginning of this... start Titanium Backup... restore "Verizon Single Sign-On Engine 1.0.16" app and data.... you are up and running.

I did this last night on the recommendation of nate44... it worked... if NFL Mobile gives you an error again, just start MyVerizon app again (no login required because it still has your credentials from the 1.0.2 backup), then start NFL Mobile... IT WORKS!!!

I think this is the same thing I saw with RC4.9 (don't remember specifically if that's the format the SMS time issue shows up as).

Try SMS Time Fix in the market.

I actually figured it out, I was using Mighty Text (great app) so that I could leave my phone on the desk and just type my text message responses since I sit at my work computer all day. I had to uninstall that in order to get them to show up properly. No biggie really, lost a bit of convenience.

Well, the LTE/CDMA trick worked. That might be applicable across the other roms as well that suffer from this.

NFL even works.

So until official GB comes out, this might be a new keeper.

Camera is like... wow. But miss the car dock from shiftsense. Could that be copied over and allow us to have that choice?

Customizing the dock w/ shortcuts vs the single stock page is a nice feature.

Great ROM! However I am trying to put a custom lock ring by flashing it in recovery. Everytime I do so and reboot it just brings up a blank lock screen that I can't unlock or anything. The only thing I could do to get access again was reinstall the ROM. What can i do to fix this problem, I really want a different lock ring? Thanks ahead of time!

Are you getting this from Das BAMF's website??? They have some good things under the Thunderbolt's Mod section... I'm using their Battery Mod and their Icon Pack, and they are working great... this thread also has lock rings: [MODS] BAMF Sense 3.0 Extras...It's Been A Long Time Coming [08.10] UPDATE #13

Sometimes you can't answer a call, only end it. Happens occasionally with these 3.0 ROMS

I just tried installing the lock ring from the BAMF website and it once again stuck me with a blank lock screen. I am re installing the rom now so I can get back to a functioning lock screen. Any ideas? Please.

You need to go into Settings > Account & Sync > Weather > check both Sync weather and Update when open... then just push the Sync Now button.

Best radio is very subjective... I'd just go with the newest... it works for me... I installed the 2.11 radio, which only updated the CDMA radio, so you will have to load the 2.10 LTE radio: [RADIO] HTC Thunderbolt Radios [PG05IMG.zip] (Updated: 23 Aug 2011) - xda-developers
