This hasn't been my experience with Google Voice. After installing a fresh ROM, I sign out of Google Voice and then sign back in. When it hangs at configuring I just go back to the home screen. It may not show GV as your VM service after reboot, but all of my VM's go to GV.

Same here. I have a complicated setup, but GV totally rocks vs VZW VM.

Also came from Gingeritis 3d after annoying camera issues. Liking it so far. Only issue im having is the sense clock/weather widget has certain update interval options grayed out for some reason.

Is there a way so that the lock ring doesnt have the "BAMF" on it. I'm just curious and I guess I have crazy OCD and it sorta of bugs me.

No guarantee... but I'm using some of the MODs from this thread and they work... I would think you could replace the BAMF ring with one from this page:

I agree with Stay Fly, not only to stay fly, but this rom has really made me enjoy this phone a whole lot more! I was settling with the Gingeritis errors and bugs and BAMF has really stepped the game up.

Also thanks fatboy97, I'll give those mods a try!

Let me know if the mods work on the lockscreen if you get a chance... I'm sure they will but just in case I decide to change mine. I wasn't too thrilled with the Bamf lockscreen either at first but its starting to grow on me.... for now

I tried to update Car Home, but said I did not have a compatible device.

Then found a APK that did install. Looked some more and found a zip file that could be installed via CWR. Apparently, that did not work as it installed on the sdcard, not the system/apps folder. So I extracted the APK and installed that way and now I have a choice of which car dock I want to use.

***** DON'T do it... I just tried it because I had a backup I did this morning... I ended up not being able to unlock my phone... so I powered off and got to Recovery from my hBoot screen and reloaded my backup... I'm almost back up now.

Right. Google Car Home is not available via the market for the TB.

Has anyone else had an issue (with any version of BAMF Forever) with the OS losing its account settings?

Twice now, my phone has completely lost all of the account settings that I have registered, which for me is Google (of course), Facebook, FriendCaster Pro, and Twitter for HTC Sense. One time it happened on a Power Off/On cycle, the other time it happened while the phone was in normal operation. That second instance was today, on 1.0.5. I believe the first instance was on 1.0.3.

I can re-enter the accounts just fine, but it's a pain to have to do so.

If you are pushing certain items while the phone is booting, like framework-res.apk, it will do this very thing.

I am using the black lock ring from here [MOD] BAMF Forever Rosie/lock ring/status bar mods updated with android guy icon

Its just hot. You can poke around and find the stock ring somewhere i'm sure.

Going to see if I can repair the damage. should be a fun lunch break

That won't cause harm, will it? It looks just like what shiftsense was using and is the latest version.

The only mods from sense 3.0 rc 4.9 thread that seem to work are the icons and the regular fonts. Changing the lock ring or the clock font will make your lock ring disappear. There are some nice lock rings for forever if you just take a minute to prod around.

On a side note if adr is still around, any chance of us getting a custom down animation? I remember how much I loved the bamf boot animation when I first got sense rc 4.9 which was my first custom ROM. I've since changed the boot animation, but I would love a bamf'd down animation. Doesn't seem to be a lot of work done in this department, but I despise the white HTC screen.

Yup, no lock ring. And since I still have a PG05IMG.zip on my SD root the hboot automatically loads that and will not let me select the option to go into recovery. Frustrating indeed.

Is there a way to get into recovery not from the HBOOT menu?

Tried that. The whole battery situation got in the way. I dont think the phone works without the battery in it.

Guess I will wait to get home and mount it to the pc and delete the troublesome issue.

Once that image is gone I can properly navigate to recovery from HBOOT right? I hope so!
