Ok got everything up and running on her phone. 1.0.6 ROM and the 3.8 kernal. Now how do you over clock it? I've been reading that some people are having great success with 1.4 overclocked.

You can download setcpu from the market, or get it from xda. That app will overclock your phone for ya.

I really wouldn't advise using setcpu with that kernel. It can cause some problems. This kernel has it's own speedtweak script built in, which allows you to overclock/undervolt. You mean newer than the 2.11.605.3 ones. Nope, and I doubt we'll see anything newer for awhile

Thanks to everybody that helped me out earlier. I was able to wipe and reflash the ROM. Loaded all my apps and data but without restoring the system data. Reflashed the leanKernel just in case too. I don't need to reflash my radio right?

That should be the case if you are coming from another GB rom (or so I was lead to believe when I also asked this awhile back). Radios should be fine

just a tip--after flashing the .3 radio zip, i lost the ability to receive text messages (0 received in 2 days)

downgrade the CDMA radio to previous release (i did .1) and now i'm receiving texts again.
just fyi for anyone noticing an issue

loving this ROM so far, esp with Imo's latest .8 lean kernel

I have a few questions -- I looked through the threads quickly and couldn't find an answer, so I thought that I would just ask them here...apologies if they are answered elsewhere and I couldn't manage to efficiently find them.

I am currently running das BAMF 4.9 on my TB. I love it, but I have certain issues with it that I would like to resolve and I am hoping that wiping my device clear and installing Forever 1.0.6 will fix my issues.
....will this new ROM...
Allow NFL to work "out of the box" or are there other "tricks" that I have to employ to make it work? If applicable, what is the best way to do this? Also, does My Verizon work?
My screen constantly shows the white HTC background page and refreshes my screens. I think this is called "redrawing," but I could be mistaken. This is extremely annoying. Is this fixed in this new ROM?
I have had so many calls go through to the other person; however, they cannot hear me, so I have to hang up the phone and redial to connect with the other person.
Does Google chat with video work?
Sometimes in 4.9 my WIFI will not connect for whatever reason, so I have to turn it off and then turn it back on.
What are the features that DON'T work with this ROM that do work with 4.9?
Should I install the latest LTE and CDMA radios?

My received SMS timestamps are one hour behind the correct time. Do you know how I can correct this? I am running the latest radio with latest BAMF Forever. Stock messaging app.

I don't use that, but this is only 2.3.4 with the latest patch. Isn't the video chat part of 2.3.5? IDK

I am not aware of anything not working on 1.0.6. v mail notifications and html email in the sense email client, but both of those have patches now.

Backup current ROM first... Froyo stock you will need to upgrade your Radio files and wipe data/cache/dalvik cache then flash 1.0.6... but GB stock you can flash 1.0.6 after you do the same wipe data/cache and dalvik cache.

BAMF Forever is the successor to Uber BAMF, which was the successor to BAMF RC 4.9. That's all I'm going to say about that.
