Off-axis viewing will give inconsistent results based on the natural differences between AMOLED and LCD. I think it would be best to duplicate your photo, viewing directly perpendicular to the screen.

I've called a couple of stores and nobody has any idea when they're getting any in stock lol. This is ridiculous. Hopefully, I can get that 64 GB the manager said will order for me.

You will be shocked to hear this but... I have to say it... The Nexus 6 I received through the mail was waaay brighter on max then the one I checked out twice at T-Mobile. When I first turned on the phone I went through the setup, after the setup it asked me to download a system update which I assume is the reason why its waay brighter now.

I finally got a chance to see one at the T-Mobile store. The rep said I could buy one tomorrow (19th) but I'll just wait on my Google order since they don't have the 64GB. The screen didn't look very bright compared to my Iphone 6 Plus however, there was an update available for the phone. I believe the girl who let me see the demo was using her personal phone ( or had played with it a lot), because it had a screen protector on it, and she switched it to a guest account before handing it over to me. I know the the multi-user feature works because I couldn't do a lot unless I added all my stuff with my Google acount.

I really like the look and feel of the phone and, it's not that big to me, but I have long hands and I knew it wouldn't bother me. The rep said it was big to her but she seemed to like the phone. One interesting thing she said was, she was thinking about switching from the Note 4 to the Nexus 6. She said the Nexus charged faster and the battery lasted longer. I asked was she sure, and she gave me a definite yes.

The midnight blue definitely attracts a lot of fingerprints. The phone operated smoothly, with no noticeable lag; but I wasn't able to do a lot since it was logged into the guest account. It's a lot thinner than I thought. The Note 4 screen is better, that's no doubt. Samsung's super AMOLED technology has come a long way and the screen looks as crisp as my Iphone 6 Plus. Having said that, I still like the Nexus 6 screen, it reminds me of the LG G3 which I didn't mind at all.

To be honest, I've never like playing with phones in the stores, especially if I'm waiting on one to be shipped.

I'm really tempted to go to T-mobile tomorrow and get one but I really want a 64GB model.

Yea I called the store like 2mins from my house on the way home from work today and they didn't have display ones out, but the guy said they had a Demo I could come and check out. I ended up doing errands/dinner/etc so never got to the store until like 20mins till closing. The guy told another chick associate to get it from the back, and when she came back, she just stood like 4 ft from me eyeing me like a hawk. Sheesh! I kept asking her questions about it and if they will carry 64gb in store, etc. She didn't know %&*, so she had to keep asking the other associate guy the answers. Ugg... But anyways, with her staring me down for 10mins, I was too nervous to do much with it, but did get to take some pics (no lag on non HDR), check out web pages, played with the brightness.

Overall, I liked the flow and really everything about it, but that size... Dayuummm LOL... I dunno, I'm actually contemplating going to just the Moto X 2014 and selling my Nexus 6 when it ships by Friday I would love to try and see if Verizon will work on it, but I don't want to take it out of the box to try if I'm going to sell it.

4 days more to think about it. I'll go to a store by my work on Wed or Thurs and check it out more to decide.

That's what I was thinking about too. If I don't like mine when it ships I might just go with the Moto X.

When is your Google one "Scheduled" to ship? I was going to get one last Wednesday from T-Mobile not knowing for sure when the one from Motorola would actually ship... but now it looks like tomorrow or Thursday so I am going to just pass on the T-Mobile one... No need to waste my time going through what will probably be an entertaining day at T-Mobile... The store closest to me told me on 11/6 they would just hold one for me and then when they pushed it back and I went up there Friday the same guy said the demand was so crazy insane he wouldn't be able to hold one for me anymore.. I'd just have to show up or call ahead and see what is going on....Said easily 20 - 30 people a day ask when and how many will you have.... when I came on 11/6 he said I was only the second person to ask about it....

Yeah I am on a prepaid account as well.. They told me I needed to upgrade to a post paid account and then they could order the 64 direct to consumer and with a post paid account I could "Finance" the phone at 0% interest.... but to get a similar plan I have now Post Paid I'd have to go up to $70 per month vs $30...... and the only added benefit is financing (I can buy the phone outright with no problem) and they could direct order the 64 GB for me... but then I am paying $500 more a year vs my lovely little plan...

Said they could finagle the 32 GB in store on the prepaid plan but not direct to consumer on the 64...

I'm confused. In your first picture in the dark room the nexus looks like s**t, so dark and red. It the second one it looks very similar to the iPhone. Are the settings the same in both pictures?

Screen technology maybe making a difference in the dark shot? AMOLED vs LCD?? Not sure if that camera just picks up the imagine awkwardly because of the screen type or not.... a lot of times pictures look a lot different than the real thing in person....

If you are signing up for a new line of service with T-Mobile (I think you are on Sprint right now correct?) @askdes the T-Mobile twitter guy said they go on sale at Midnight Pacific time tonight......... Your best bet might be to stay up late tonight and go through the whole "let me try and get one online" ordeal again (As much as it sucked trying to get one from Google and Motorola) If they go on sale at midnight tonight and you walk into a store at 10 am when they open tonight I am afraid yes they will get you one coming.... But when????? I have a feeling T-Mobile.com is going to take a beating tonight......

Unfortunately that's 3am my time. I found out there's at least one store that will have some tomorrow. So if anything, I'll just stop by and pick up the 32gb.
