Google Nexus 6 on Verizon

I am currently checking the Motorola store and play store constantly for a white nexus 6. Does anybody know what time the play store updates their stock on Wednesdays?

And do I have to worry about that volte not coming to a nexus 6 on Verizon ? Can't I just root it and add whatever custom software that Verizon added, etc?

To answer your first question, typically it opened up around 10-11 am PST.

Not sure about your second question.

Decisions, decisions. I just wish it would come out on Verizon already. I have a feeling not until after Christmas.

If Verizon doesn't do what's needed for voLTE what would there be to add?

For what its worth I just got off the phone with Verizon trying to get a nano Sim and the lady I spoke with put me on hold for 20 mins trying to figure out how to get me a Sim. Well she told me that the nexus 6 is indeed coming out after the 1st of the year and is in q/a right now. She said " rest assured we will be able to get you a Sim in a couple of weeks"

This is why I feel like these VZW reps are full of it. A nano sim is a nano sim -- there is not one specific to the N6. She can send you one right now -- it is the same sim as the Turbo and the Maxx, and several other phones on Verizon.

That said, I hope it is in QA and on the way soon . . .

When I went to a Verizon retail store I ask about the availability of the Nexus 6 and they didn't even know what it was. I had to take a nano sim capable phone into the store to get a nano sim. No rep would just send one out to me. So I just got a cheap Moto X 2014. Now all I need is a Nexus 6. I hope it comes before March.

I am asking if Verizon makes voLTE available for their nexus 6, would there be some way to flash whatever firmware there was onto our unofficial nexus 6 on their network. Make sense?

And how is the iPhone 6 able to do simultaneous voice and data? Is there a CDMA chip in it? Can the iPhone 6 do both?

How hard is it to get a nano Sim? Will the one guy at the store near me said that he would take like $35 to get a nano Sim activated... That's the standard activation fee?

Are you guys going to cut your micro Sim into nano? I think I am.

Thanks. So if I want a phone that has volte, I need to probably get the Verizon specific version. Sigh. Cuz they would need to authorize it on their end first, and why would they enable it for a non Verizon phone...

I don't think they will care once they release it to a specific device. Why **** off a customer that you aren't subsidizing there phone?

Just talked to a customer service Rep, he could only say that to check back around the 1st for a nexus 6 phone, and also that any 4g capable phone would be able to reap the benefits of volte. Regardless of where it was bought. Take a grain of salt.
