Google Nexus 6 on Verizon

I think I'm sending mine back as well. I love it but not being able to do data and voice at the same time with no definite answer if/when Verizon will roll out voLTE and if a non Verizon phone will get the update. ?!?!? I want to use my unlimited data hot spot and be able to talk on the phone. This phone is ahead of the network. Guess that's why they're not selling it. Can't believe the turbo is in the same boat and they are selling them. Anyone have thoughts on my situation?

So this phone also doesn't do voice/data simultaneously? That is my biggest hang up with the Turbo, wtf?

Well just in case you don't know these tech support should be taken with a grain of salt. The Internet is more informed than they are. I'm hoping it comes before Christmas. I want to know if there is a reason people say this nexus could potentially be delayed to January on verizon. Has verizon ever delayed a phone that long before?

Turbo also has a locked up bootloader that will probably never be rooted let alone supported by the rom community. It's also a pretty ugly device in my opinion

It's Verizon, they are pushing the DROID brand. I am shocked about the Motorola X update though that was fast. I wish Best Buy would just sell an unlocked version.
Even if Best Buy did there is still no support from Verizon but with my pile of gift cards and reward points it would make it easier to buy unlocked version

My upgrade is in March and I want to know if Verizon will be selling them at retail stores. I know that the nexus 6 will work with Verizon, and I'm looking at getting one for my upgrade.

I don't have any inside info, but I don't think Verizon will carry the N6 in stores. But they'll activate it if you get it from the Play Store.

There will be no Nexus 6 at Verizon this year. I've been saying it for weeks. Won't happen.

I'm one of those who was ready and willing to use my upgrade and but Nexus 6 on Verizon as soon as it was available. I've been following the phone and Android L for months, posting here, etc.

It seems so long ago now. I've given up hope now after the botched launch, all the issues with encryption, L bugs etc, no release date in sight. The phone is a lot less attractive than it was now. It's pretty sad really.

Damn... if this is true, I don't want to wait that long lol. If the Droud Turbo was a 5.7" device, I'd be all over it (w/ on screen buttons of course )
