Oh well that's great news so it will already be there on the 6 Pro then.A couple of Pixels already have it but not the Pixel 4a. I know Kizzy has it on her Pixel.

If you have Double Tap it will be in System/Gestures as is one hand mode for the screen. I have it on to swipe down the screen for easy one hand use. See screen shot.Speaking of which I got to digging in the accessibility menu because that's where the back tap feature should end up, I had no idea that Google does indeed have a one handed mode in there.//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210918/f7897342ab6e8d29a363220b43134383.jpg
I can't see how the squeeze would work if there is a case on the phone. I prefer barking orders to my assistant anyway.

My wife enjoys tormenting Assistant. Sometimes "her" responses are hilarious.Actually the squeeze works great on my pixel with a Bellroy leather case on it... it's kinda gratifying and handy to just give the phone a nice squeeze to get the Assistant, without having to say anything or change my hand position. But for longevity the power buttons a much better choice, and barking orders at your emotionless personal secretary can be gratifying as well lol.
I've been known to toy with her a little bitI used to hound Cortana so much for entertainment purposes she would quit responding to me lol. Now that Assistant had some tude'

It's not there because it hasn't arrived to the Pixel 4a which is the phone I have.Where's the back tap feature?

I want that as well. But.. again will that work with a case on? Why haven't all Pixels received it?

Should be the feature like on iPhone where you can double or triple tap the back of the phone to activate a feature like Google assistant or screenshot, etc.Quick Tap? What am I missing?! Haha.
That feature only arrived on one or two models of Pixels, the Pixel 4a5g and/or the Pixel 5. It showed up several months ago. Maybe the Pixel 5a has it as well.Quick Tap? What am I missing?! Haha.

Looking forward to it. Hope it is an improvement over the last few Pixel's. Mostly looking for better video quality.
And your Pixel model phone is.....?Sorry forgot to post. Here are the images.![]()
