T-Mobile has sold previous Pixel phones and the 6 Pro won't be any different especially when Des that does all the crazy unboxings mentions it. I'm using the 3a on T-Mobile now. We're good to go there man.

Will T-Mobile actually sell it, that's an unknown; but buying an unlocked model from Google should work fine. Hopefully all major carriers sell this thing from their stores & websites, in addition to the Google store.

Considering Google Fi uses T-Mobile as one of its carriers you don't have anything to worry about.

As RaRa85 mentioned Google always sells an unlocked version that works on all major carriers. Will T-Mobile actually sell it, that's an unknown; but buying an unlocked model from Google should work fine. Hopefully all major carriers sell this thing from their stores & websites, in addition to the Google store.

They'll sell it.lol They sell them already. I wouldn't see why they wouldn't with this one and the hype around it.

Every Nexus and Pixel device so far have been fine on T-Mobile. I would be shocked if T-Mobile doesn't sell them directly, though they probably won't stock both in all stores, so it's possible you may need to order through their Telesales group if you want -- though it's certainly not out of the question that they may not carry the entire range (all colors and storage variants).

Google has also indicated budgeting an unprecedented amount to help drive sales, and it's likely a fair amount of that budget will go towards funding carrier marketing efforts, so it's even more likely this year they'll have them available than in the past years where they have.

We're getting so close now. I'm trying my best to keep busy with other things to dampen the wait. I just hope this is the phone I can live with for the next 2-4 years.

I'm not all excited about it as I've never had a Pixel before. The specs look great and I like a LOT about the phone (6 Pro is what I'm interested in getting) BUT I usually am not an early adopter. I like to see how things play out first and NOT be the beta tester of a new phone.

All that being said, the very first time I actually was an early adopter was when I got my current phone, the Note 8 on release weekend. I knew without a doubt it was going to be fantastic simply because it HAD to be after the Note 7 burst into flames and disappeared. I knew the battery would be great and the phone as well because Samsung would have had a hard time selling phones if the N8 wasn't awesome after the N7 debacle.

So, I'm super hesitant to jump on another new phone as soon as it's released. My only issue with my N8 is that the battery doesn't hold out long after 4 years so I'm on the lookout for a new phone for the 3rd time in a year. Thought it was gonna be the N20 a year ago but it fell short of my expectations. Then it was gonna be the S21 and I didn't like some things about it.

So, here I am hoping the 6 Pro will be the one after never dreaming I'd get another year out of my N8.

Me too, luckily Diablo 2 Resurrected is coming out on Thursday. That is totally going to make the wait go by quickly. I am hopeful that this is the Pixel that let's me actually want to wait 2 years to buy the new one. I could be kidding myself on that one though.

Lol yeah I feel you on that. Good idea. I'm thinking maybe I'll get a short goal in place to have something to focus on during the time and lower my expectations since they're already too high probably.lol And I plan to get out of the tech community if all goes well and just live like the people who buy the iPhone 12 the day before the iPhone 13 comes out.lol

I totally get the not wanting to be an early adopter of a radical redesign, whether it be a phone, car, etc. But I will say this... There's a reason why, despite all the bashing Google has taken over the years for not using "flagship hardware," it has (mostly) consistently enjoyed positive feelings by its users, whether they have made the move from LG, Samsung, whoever. Google has never captivated people by making them feel great about knowing they have the 'best' display, battery, camera hardware, etc, but by (for the most part) giving its users a synergistically designed experience that allows you to do what you want, when you want, effortlessly and with little confusion.

That isn't to say they've been without their faults. The battery life on the 4 was a horrible miscalculation, and they tend to have a few more issues out of the gate than others (though not so much more than other OEM's as reports would have you believe (I'm looking at you, Pixel 3 XL blue shift that "wasn't present" on nearly any other concurrent phone with a similar display to a lesser - or greater - extent)), but they have proven remarkably adept at resolving them.

Coming from other android phones, I won't say you'll definitely prefer it over others, but if your expectations are based on the press Pixels have historically received, you'd certainly be very pleasantly surprised even by the 5 or 5a, and the 6 or 6 Pro will definitely earn your respect.

Unless the processor is a metaphorical dumpster fire (which is still better than the literal fire some other OEM's have put out in the past).

If you're in no rush, give it a month and you'll have a little better idea, and may likely also benefit from Black Friday/holiday promotions.

That explains it. I only have 12 on an old P3a. Looking forward to this feature on my P5 as I like an easy shortcut to the google assistant. Used squeeze on the P3 and miss it. Don't want to enable OK Google detection when locked.

I'm looking forward to Diablo Immortal which they announced back in 2018 for mobile devices. Should be released almost the exact same time as the Pixel 63
