How does it display notifications, what happens when you receive a text or email. How does the calender app compare to the Pre? Can you charge with the device off? All I have to compare it to is my pre.
How fast is the boot time on this phone? Can you time it?
+1
Say in regular jeans.
I know you have discussed the size and weight already, but can you be a little more specific.
Today is the first day I have actually put the phone in my Jeans going to work and I have to say no problem at all it actually feels smaller then my Palm Pre cause its so thin. Keep in mind that I am a 6 foot 2 inch tall guy, but to me in my pocket it feels smallr then both my Palm Pre and HTC Hero.
Hey man, thanks for all the info you have provided so far, I do however have a question or 2.
1) I know you get 7 home screens, lets say you go to a screen that is not the main center home screen and then lock the phone, when you unlock it does it come back to that screen or does it go back to your main home screen? Kinda like if i had a sports widget on home screen 3 and wanted to come right back to it to check scores instead of leaping.
Whatever screen you're on it will open back on that screen and not on the home screen.
2) How are the social networks, like Facebook for HTC, and Twitter working, have you tried the widgets out of them? I assume Friendstream is probably too hard to use for all networks.
Well I use programs like the facebook app and twitdroid not really a fan of the widget for those things.
Thanks for your help, can't wait to get mine on the 4th!
how about when it rings and u taking out of pocket .. sending call to v/m or picking up by accident might be an issue ... i see so many case options out there but not that many case/holster combo options .. not to many options to carry the device
Now that you have the Evo....what's the one thing you miss most from the Pre? My guess would be the cards/multitasking.
Is there a quick way to mark your emails as read?
Ok but when you get a text does it still display the message on the screen? lets say when the phone is sitting there idle how do you know you got a message and from what?
