Do you think that if I went to a VZW and told them that I heard BB is selling them but I want to get my 30 dollar discount so I came to VZW first that they'd sell it to me? I'm sure they would say it isn't for sale yet, but would they try anyways if I told them I'll just go to BB instead then. VZW employees get commission so I'd think maybe they would try to sell it to me anyways rather than lose the sale?

Doubt it. verizon would probably say, "they aren't supposed to be selling it" and someone would be getting a call.

Give some pros and cons in your opinion. Would like to know about gps....heard it locks instantly. Curious if Samsung has fixed gps as the fascinate and charge were not so hot in that area.
Called all Best Buys near me and they said that it wouldn't be available until Verizon gave a release date. sadface. They also said they had no ETA.

No, when I called, they said there was already a guy there activating their only unit.
the stock talk to text app has been updated...I frequently used it so i love the new version....However when using it on the forums earlier instead of writing what I said it simple listened and then listed off a bunch of contacts names hah...so thats a little bug there they will fix...other than that I love the app...no longer do you have to wait for mic to prepare and then speak then let it analyze...its more of like all one motion and it constantly is listening until you are done..OP had same experience.
Will test out the GPS soon for ya.

Dang. I didn't think it would work. Oh well, it will be released when it's released and I'm guessing we will all have about a 12-24 hours notice before hand.

Can you post a picture of your receipt? I'm thinking that if I show the reps the receipts and proof that BB is selling them, they'll let it go.

However, I think showing the manager or employee a receipt will get you the same reaction that telling your mom "Well Billy's mom is letting him do it" ..... "Doesn't matter, I am not Billy's mom so I am not going to do it"

Is that the Galaxy SKU number that they wrote down? When I went, they had the product in stock and brought it out but I think when they tried to scan it, it wouldn't show up which is why they had to call the Verizon rep which told them they can't sell it. If I can show them your receipt and they understand hopefully I'll get lucky.
