Same thing was happening to me until Craptorman did some magic on our mms.apk

I downloaded the cm10 alltel jellybean from this thread, changed some build prop items, added my carrier ifo in the apn-config. Xml still couldnt add apn but had two alltel apn in settimgs tried to add my they disappeared... Used a program apn backup n restore set it as system app, hit menu ignore ics check restored the apns rebooted my imfo showed up, couldnt send or recieve mms still, rebooted to twwp fixed permissions they now work... Now to figure out how to make everythimg work on the black widow rom

So this whole time you were trying to get mms to work on a rom other than the alltel one from this thread? If so, no wonder it wasn't working right.

Wellbi grabbed the black widow ics from the very first post tried that patch but it actually would fail so I tried to work around everything myself but got nothing... The all tell one didn't work until I changed some things around for my cell company.


Still don't get why the apn would stick in black widow though

Any chance we could get an alltel patch for the new Carbon ROM?

Here's a full build for Alltel. Didn't build it from source, just modified framework-res.apk, build.prop and apns-conf.xml. Try it out, I'll leave it up for a day or two so grab it while you can.

build puked setting up again and building but heres is a aokp 4.2.2 build from source to try i am using now that is working good.

I used an updated alltel patch with the RC1 cm10.1 ROM and it is very stable and fast.

Hi, I posted a few months ago asking about a custom rom for my razr maxx, i installed rom manager and seen a few cm10's that I can download. I tried rc1 and was stuck in boot loop, so i restored. Is there some other step I'm missing? Thanks
