Mine was doing that as well. Go into phone settings, language and input and then select swiftkey, then hit the menu button next to it. That should take you back into Swiftkey where it was crashing and let you move forward. At least it worked for me.

so are there major differences between Jake JB and CM10? i am running smooth with what I have but if its green on the other side.. well than let the flashing begin. lol!

Word.. not sure if its "official" yet.. I tend to go by the list found here: Google Apps - RootzWiki

But that's not to imply it won't work or won't wind up on that listing soon enough

so this one is ~85MB, while the other ones are >100MB... what makes this "official"? i thought every dev put together their own gapps

if I change to CM10, is there a order list on the correct way to flash the rom?

I read it comes with gapps in the rom.. correct?

no need to install a su file if I have a JB rom installed?

Sorry but changes for a noobie are difficult at times, only flashing for 2 months now and liked ICS by AOKP, than did the JB Jake, now everyone is hot on CM, so I guess its the bomb now, lol!

Sorry but changes for a noobie are difficult at times, only flashing for 2 months now and liked ICS by AOKP, than did the JB Jake, now everyone is hot on CM, so I guess its the bomb now, lol!

im not sure about gapps... yesterday's release didnt have it, but i read that tonight's may (which is weird, because i thought gapps had to be segregated)

as for the process... same thing: nandroid, wipe cache/dalvik, format system, wipe data, flash CM, flash gapps (depends on comment above), reboot. here's the change: go into Superuser app, and update the binary. it will say that 3.2 is installed, and 3.1.1 is the most recent. its weird, but as dm mentioned a few posts ago, its correct

one thing i should mention, my experience with CM10 and Kejar's 7/15 gapps did not restore apps from Play. the app i use to restore my apps/data does not work with the new clockwork method of backup, so i couldnt restore my SMS/Apps. so, tread cautiously.

superuser and supersu are just different apps. back when i was on AOKP, i had superuser (though i think that came from my rooting process, not the ROM). when i switched over to the JB ports, everyone was using SuperSU.

CM10 comes with the Superuser app instead of SuperSU.

happy flashing! i think i will give CM10 another whirl tonight, now that i got my SMS backed up using SMS Backup +

should be able to dirtyflash coming from another cm10 nightly. i will echo the advisers here - you can DF, but should something go wrong, you should try to clean flash

Just my 2 pennies but....

Not that I have done a lot of flashing but was told when switching rom to do a "clean" install to avoid issues.

ROM to ROM, or nightly to Milestone of same ROM yes, should do clean

Always depends.. Even a nightly can change just enough that dirty gives you problems. All depends on what exactly changes in the system.
