I'm actually trying to unbrick 2 people that are both running windows 7.....both of them are having driver problems -_-

I think so, and my OP has the wrong drivers -_-

huh. interesting. i did it just fine. which drivers do we need? I would imagine it's just the lg universal ones or whatever they're called. I think that's what I have. I didn't even change the drivers on my computer.

No its the US670 drivers from the LG update program.
Also I unbricked his phone ^_^ used the KDZ program instead.....I'm gonna get rid of this KP500 nonsense now, tomorrow.

well awesome!! way to go. I've never used the kdz program. I don't even think I know what it is. Cool. By the way, if people can get to recovery, but that's it, it's probably best that they don't do your guide. cuz it's a lot less complicated to fix that. All they need to do is install Cannibal, install a fresh rom/gapps, click advanced, and click stop recovery boot loop and it'll unbrick their phone. Maybe put that in the OP...

Kdz will also fix it even easier. KDZ is the least complicated tool.

ROM Manager caused a unicorn to appear and then a bootloop with LG logo....can Koush fix this please? lol

ATTENTION, DO NOT USE ANY OF THE FIRST OR SECOND POST TO REVERT TO ZV5 FROM ZVD (OPTIMUS S) FIRMWARE!

I just bricked my optimus v. -_-
Soft brick, but these tools won't restore it to 100% ZV5 from ZVD...

Update about KDZ method, haven't had time to make guide.

I think you gotta go from zv9 to zv5. Thought we talked about not going from zvd to zv5 already?

Hey sam when i try to open the vm670zv5_07.cab, i get an error saying the achive is either unknown format or damaged. I even tried changing the name like you said and i still get the error.
