i placed my order on june 9th. just called the 866 number, had to speak with a rep because im not a premier member. she asked for my phone number, my billing address, and my last 4 digits of my ss#. she was then able to look up my oder without giving her my order number. she told me i preorder the samsung galaxy s3 marble white, and that it left the warehouse, and is ready to be shipped, as soon as it is shipped i will be sent with a tracking #. she told me my package will arrive on the 21st of june (thursday). i checked my bank account and they havent took out the funds yet.

If you like that answer, then don't call back. Cause the next rep will give you a completely different answer. Just fyi.

very true because i called the number and also had to speak to a rep and he told me that they are now shipping the 28th that samsung informed them this morning that they had to delay it from the 21 to the 28th so we dont really know who to believe

i am seeing postings that its delayed to the 28th as well, but haven't received an email, text or anything from AT&T.

So i guess we're playing the waiting game til whenever....

My theory is that the Blue model will ship on time. I base this on the fact that everyone heard of the manufacturing problems with the Blue model and switched to the White model.

An un-named poster on the XDA forum says that Sam's Club told him that AT&T told them that the launch was delayed a week! LOL. Nothing official here, just one more rumor to add to the pile.

I think the release of the Samsung Galaxy S III will be delayed. I preordered on the day AT&T allowed it, and mine shows backordered (white, 16GB).

At least I have my Skyrocket for now...

Well, I have links for two entirely different versions of the order status website. One shows the phone "Processing" and the Micro-SIM "Processing" AND "Pending Shipment." The other site says both the phone and Micro-SIM to be "In Progress"! So not only do various customer service reps say different things, even two different AT&T websites don't totally agree.

Got my gmail account set up. Does google sync with Outlook? I assume that I download and install and follow the steps? I want to make sure that I get all my addresses, birthdays, appointments, and phone numbers on my BB9810 on my GS3.

I just called at&t, they said they should be in line for the 21st and not expecting any delays they should ship right to the store that I ordered from.

I just went in to my local best buy and asked a buddy of mine who checked through all the best buy mobile internal company emails and posts and nothing is in there stating they aren't going to sell them on the 21st. Best buy has always been good at notifying via email if they expect a delay past the day they quoted you. He said if they are releasing them on thursday, stock will come in either tonight or tomorrow morning by 12 noon. He said if they aren't in by noon, then the earlist we could expect would be friday. He's going to call me tomorrow around noon and let me know if stock came in.
