Happy Ship Day everyone!! :)

My account was charged 211.99 today and Premier says my order has been processed and will be shipped shortly. I'm going to venture I get it by Thursday, maybe Friday at the latest.

The Premier website won't let me pull up the order status, but I found it through the automated system when calling into Premier. I'd say that by tomorrow most of you will be seeing the same thing and we'll all be getting our phones in the 2-3 days. Which is going to be greatly appreciated because if I have to use this Lumia 900 for another second I'm going to lose my mind.
 
I get "processed and shipping shortly" from the automated line also. Guess it's a step in the right direction! :) Tracking number would be nice tho!

Haha mine still says back order! But I ordered mine on the 15th so I will be one of the last orders! :P

Also how do you become a Premier customer?
 
I recently called AT&T because I had to update my order. Some tool stole my credit card number and AMEX cancelled my card (there were some interesting charges...). I called and asked to update my order with a different credit card, and the rep said that they would have to cancel my existing and create a new one. He said that would put me at the back of the line, but he said I would get upgraded to overnight shipping. Yay.

I told him to leave it alone and I'd call when the order failed. As an aside, I was joking with him about the calls for the SGS 3 order status. I asked if he would rather have 5 calls about the order status versus 1 from a customer who was just throttled to EDGE speeds because he exceeded his download limit. He said he'd take the calls about the order status over a 20 minute rant about how crappy AT&T is.

An observation: AT&T is counting on this level of excitement. Trust me, the upper level management loves this level of interest and you can bet they know what kind of calls they are getting. The reps might think it sucks, but they should realize that the more phones (and corresponding service plans) that AT&T sells with the SGS 3 launch, the more secure their jobs are.

I definitely understand the level of excitement for some people here. In the overall perspective of things, does it matter? No. Does it matter if you get excited about your new car? No. A lot of guys/gals here are using a 2 year upgrade here, and they want to get the phone so they can see if they like it within the 30 day window (versus the 14 day for Verizon).

I am in the phone nerd 12 step rehab program. I've bought the following phones on launch day:

SGS II, SGS II SkyRocket, Samsung Galaxy Nexus (international order), and the HOX (international order) and some others I've forgotten.

Does it get a little silly with the calls? Sure, but it's part of the game and AT&T loves it. All of you ragging on the people who are excited about it, shut up and stop reading this thread if it bothers you so much. I'll just be glad to get my phone before it's in the stores because that jerk stole my credit card number.
 
Same here, anybody call this number recently before this? Anybody heard something different? Website still showing backordered, even though I know it will be updated last.
 
I pre ordered June 6th, and when I call the order status number it says it's on back order. This is very frustrating for several reason. 1. I hate my iPhone 4S. 2. I pre ordered the day of so I don't get this.
 
I ordered on the 6th from the premier site. Website and Phone rep both say backordered for me as well.
 
A charge for the amount of the phone just hit my bank account. Hopefully that means my GS3 is on its way out the door!

I pre-ordered mine from Sprint on the 6th and my account was charged within the hour. Just because your account was charged doesn't neccassarily mean it coming, although i would like to think so. I got stuck with a Samsung Moment for the last 2 years because the Evo supply at the time was nil to none.

Haha, this is funny. Called the 866 number and it said processed and awaiting shipment, then I called the 800# and still says Backordered.
Weird system they have!

Mine on ATT has not been charged yet. I ordered mine on the 15th! So maybe it different pending on the carrier. Either way the money is there for their taking when they are ready...

I also ordered mine June 6th, about an hour after the store opened. Both the website and phone number are saying mine is still back-ordered. It's frustrating to not have an actual date to look forward to, but I guess that will make receiving the phone that much better. I have a feeling that after the US launch event in NYC tomorrow, At&t will start updating the status of our orders. Let's cross our fingers and hope that Friday is the day the first batch of per-orders are delivered!

They claim csrs are now giving that date. Csrs said it just came down about the new date.

The automated status line has the same message from Day 1 as has the online status still showing in progress. Until the shipping email is received or the device is actually delivered, then you will know.
 
I'm currently trying to cancel my preorder cause I can get it in a store faster. This is ridiculous IMO. If you can't ship when you say then don't give a date at all!! Right now on phone with ATT and they are telling me I didn't even place an order yet they have my money on hold, gave me an order #, and sent me confirmation email! Can we say MORONS?!?!?!?
