PLEASE BE KIND. who at all moved from verizon to other carrier using att sim. and what if any how complex is it. i have note 7 and disabled, so i cant work. this is besides a fire on th ac unit today next to my apt. I NEED extreme help as i am literally lost. its not by choice im leaving verizon. i will not hijack this thread, just need help and honesty. vzw told me its unlocked. i have til monday to get ready

If this is what you want OP it should work. The Note 7 for VZW is unlocked right away.
why are there so many evil idiots out today and all the nasty vzw attitudes infecting others. get me outa there.

I don't even think you need to go to Verizon at all. If you go to AT&T, have your number ported, that will automatically flag your Verizon account as terminated.

I have direct experience with this. My family and I brought several Verizon phones over to T-Mobile and they worked just fine. All we had to do was sign up for service and pop in the T-Mobile SIM cards. We brought over a BlackBerry Q10, iPhone 5C and and HTC M8. I've also used a Verizon Note 4 on my T-Mobile account. All it took was putting in the SIM card.
I understand from your post that you are physically challenged, this should not be a major issue. If you can't get down to the store you should be able to order service via the telephone or internet and have them mail you a SIM card, it just takes a couple days. Additionally most if not all of their locations SHOULD be ADA compliant and have full handicapped access. I can also recommend T-Mobile if your heart is not already set on AT&T.

Almost any modern Verizon phone will get service on most major networks, it just won't get the extra things that those carriers have for their branded devices. So yes, your Note 7 should take an AT&T SIM and work.

Just talked to a friend that works at a corporate AT&T store. All VZW phones have to be unlocked due to the C block of the 700MHz LTE auction a few years back. They will work just fine. You should be able to go into a store or call AT&T telesales. If you call with the port information, they will send a SIM that is partially activated. When you get it, put it in your phone and go to att.com/activations to finish. The port will not be worked until you activate the SIM.

The vzw note will work on at&t but probably won't get as good of service. They had Samsung take some bands out to make it harder to switch. The s7 is the same way.

It is physically there, just disabled by software. On the Verizon s7 edge, you can flash the unlocked software and it gains full band support for att /tmobile

Correct, I just ported out a line from Verizon to metropcs to pick up the Zmax pro for $40. The phone is really great Btw for $40.

Best option to get rid of bloatware is disabling them through package disabler pro - that's what I use on my S7E and my sister's Note 7
