Smooth to transfer to Honeycomb but there is no way to read your books you bought at Barnes and Noble online and downloaded to the rooted nook.
So how do you transfer the books you have to the new Honeycomb OS.

The Nook market app supposedly works with this update. Obviously this gives you an entirely different system that has nothing to do with Barnes & Noble, so it depends what you're looking for.

ok i did this and then it didnt work and now it wont even boot clockwork :(

I highly doubt it's truly bricked. Read the restore instructions carefully. Use the dd instructions, not the flashable zip. Hold down power button for 10+ seconds (it's probably technically on, and needs to be powered off first), THEN hold it again with Clockwork SD in. If that fails, burn your Clockwork SD again.

Somebody please gouge my eyes out so I will never have to look at FileFactory.com ever again. LOL

lol I needed a site that would allow huge files for free. They did it. I'll gladly use a different site next time if someone has recommendations.

Megaupload, Rapidshare, or Mediafire?

Btw, is anyone else having an error on filefactory for hc4system.img.gz saying that all the download slots are taken??

and Will, any ideas about getting flash into the browser? and is there an OC kernel available for the HC4 setup you released today?

I'm really sorry to keep asking stupid questions...i'm really new to this!

The new update is great. Kindle and Nook (which were not working on previous version) are now working well.

Any idea why Tweetdeck is not showing up in the market? It also cannot be installed from the online market, and I receive errors when trying to install it from the latest .apk release.

Thanks for all your work on this!

Might be easier to do torrents That way we can all share in the bandwidth

That's a good idea - I can't start one now, but if someone else wants to, I'll post it.

Those sites have file size limits for free users, and I don't really want to buy a membership.

is this OCed?

No, not yet. You can try the old OC kernel if you want, but v04 has a new kernel, so you'd probably lost some of the changes if it worked.

You can try different fingerprints for build.prop, maybe the Nexus S one? I haven't heard a lot of success stories on this front, but will keep an eye out.

ok i followed the instructions (yes i got it back to stock) for this and NOW it wont start

We'll need more detail to know what your problem is. Check the restore to stock thread?

Didn't realize that site was going to be so much trouble. If someone can throw up a mirror or a torrent link, it sounds like it will be much appreciated!

If you know how to get a proxy going, that can help with the wait in between files. Tor is easy and works well.

The overclock kernel actually works great in v04 (finally just tested). Link now in OP to a boot partition image with the overclock kernel installed. This time it's on mediafire - we'll avoid filefactory when possible from now on. :p

Boo-hoo!

And I just paid $15 to FileFactory for premium service...

BTW, RootExplorer doesn't work unless you allow it to update su, which of course kills trying to run su on a command line...

Otherwise, I'm having a great time with v4! Thanks for all your hard work!

OC boot image

Just loaded the OC boot image only and I'm still running. SetCPU can't get su permission due to my previous overwrite of su.
