How's your battery life now after 2 months?

Here are some specs, just under 2 days with 11% remaining. This phone is now my daily driver, so I get about 200 emails a day and create/respond to about 10-15. Spend time on web, doing gotomeetings and make about 20-45 min of phone calls. At the moment, I'm pretty happy with battery life.

The advanced task killer really made a difference though, not sure why.

I used to have advanced task killer on my hero but someone told me the evo task manager is more safer and better for the phone so I deleted it when I switched to the EVO

My phone is always showing that the screen is using about 75 percent of the put consumption and I don't have my screen at full brightness. Is there anything I can do to reduce that? I'm only only getting about 5-6 hours of battery life because of that.

I'm with you, and so far I haven't found a solution.

Edit: are those of you with awesome battery life using face unlock?

I used face unlock for a few weeks. It made no difference in battery life for me.

I would start by going to Sprint Zone and tapping the "power controls." Under "current power usage" you will be able to see the rating (high, med, low) for each item. I think the display brightness and screen timeout, WiFi, and auto sync accounts are the keys to changing your battery life. For me, WiFi is a big one because Sprint's 3G is a SERIOUS battery sucker. Use WiFi as much as possible if you don't already.

I'm starting my 3Rd week with this phone and love it. I have my screen brightness set at 25% and auto lock on 2mins. I usually get about 1.5 days on a charge.
If I knew how to post a pic of the screen shoot I would....haha.

Press power and home button at the same time.

I continue to get very good battery life. Not as good as that, but close. I just did the new upgrade to sense 4.1 today, we'll see if it makes things better/worse/same

Over 2 days that awesome I had to do it really light use to get 3 days my phone on average get 24 to 50 hours it hardly ever go past 2 days uncharged.

Battery life is fine for me. Roaming is the big battery killer for me, but when I'm not roaming I see results like this.

3 days? What is your screen on time? Given those percentages, I'm guessing it sat idle for 98% of those 3 days.

Probably not a bad guess. But I imagine that most people's phones sit idle 98% of the time, on long average. 2% use is about 30 min a day. Of course, there are going to be many people who use it much more.

One of the biggest differences with the Evo LTE, is that with 2% use, previous models (like the Evo 4G or Evo 3D) could wipe more than half the battery.

Trying to compare battery life from one person to another is pretty much meaningless, unless it includes a lot of other data, such as screen on time, how much time is spent on WiFi, how much time on 3G, how much on 4G, how far the towers were the entire time, how long were any voice calls, how much total data was transferred, how active the CPU/GPU were, etc, etc.

I could never understand no matter how good the battery is why would anybody not charge the phone while they sleep. That will never make sense to me. That's me,,, to each his /her own. I just find it strange.

The only reason I don't charge my battery overnight is usually I'm staying at my girlfriends at night then come home to work in the mornings where I usually throw my EVO on the charger at my desk. I don't have a second wall charger and when I take my home one with me I sometimes forget to bring it home and then I'm screwed.
